They served delicious little snack crackers with the tea. Often these are shrimp crackers that leave a taste in your mouth like you've licked an old sea net. These were fresh and crisp with a little bit of heat. Not too much, just a nice flavor.
The Vegetable Egg Foo Yong was also delicious. It was clearly cooked fresh with delicate vegetables that didn't overwhelm the omelet. I've had it from one other Chinese restaurant in Zwolle and the one I had here was far superior. It is served here in Holland with sweet sauce. That's initially a shock but in this case, the sauce was subtle and complimentary to the dish versus the other place where the omelet was just drowning in sticky goo.
The fried rice was very good as well. Once again, subtle flavors of green onion and egg in the veggie version I requested.
Overall, great experience.
