I was told that the next appoint was in mid November. I told the receptionist that I really did not feel well and needed it sooner. There was nothing she could do. I am so disgusted, if I'm calling to come in for other than a physical, it means that I am really sick. What kind of Doctor can not fit in sick patients. I am very disappointed and no longer recommend this office. I asked to have my records, I was told when I find a new Dr. I will need to sign a release. So insensitive and uncaring. I would have giving no stars if it was an option. I am in the medical field and stat add on patients are part of the job.

I told her after weighing me to not tell me my weight since I have body image issues and don't like to focus on my weight number since it can be upsetting for me. That was the first sign of disrespect. Then she starts mocking my beliefs and morals that are linked to my diet. I tell her I suffer from anemia. She acts like she doesn't believe me and "how could I know that" my previous doctor diagnosed me with it? She then tells me that I do have it and starts telling me I'm malnourished. I asked her for advice on what to eat and she just starts listing things that I already eat. I tell her I'm depressed, have trouble sleeping and she offers no help other than "try Prozac" with a laugh. She then says I'm social and have friends so I'm fine. Completely disrespectful. She asked me if I was sexually active and before I could answer she just said no and writes that down. I tried to explain that wasn't the case but she didn't believe me? Or didn't take it seriously? It was so uncomfortable. I had a lot of concerns and questions about my health and when I tried to ask she cuts me off and tells me "I have other patients" and ended the appointment. What the hell. Don't go to her. My family sees other doctors there and are fine but don't go to Barbara.

I filled out their forms about my medical history. After my appointment, later in the week, I got a phone call soliciting me for more services. The lady said that based on info provided in my health history, they want me to come in for a diagnostic procedure, and when is a good time for an appointment. Presumptuous! Dr. Lisa is not part of my ongoing care, and while I appreciate the concern (though if it was true concern, why wasn't it mentioned in the appointment?), I was having thst issue addressed with my specialist, and I didn't appreciate the money grab. Also, I called to request a copy of my urinalysis for my own records. I went in later that day to pick up the report... and no one asked for ID. This is a clear HIPAA violation. I could have been anyone who knew I was a patient, asking for medical records. How are they supposed to know it is indeed me picking up my own records? A few weeks later, I get a letter saying that something abnormal came up in my urinalysis and I need to make a followup appointment. Well, I had my copy and could see that the only abnormal thing was related to the UTI I was treated for. Perhaps it's an automated response.

The waiting room was empty which i loved because I didn't have to worry about us catching any germs! They also had a beautiful fish tank that my daughter enjoyed. Everyone was so sweet and friendly from the receptionist to the nurse and the physician. I'm not sure why but you can't use insurance for the sports physicals but it was so efficient and i had procrastinated about it so i had no problem paying out of pocket to get it done!

No in-depth discussion of his GI tests results, no questions answered, no plan, and she whisked out of the room quickly. I'm an RN and will never recommend this MD; it seems as if she ordered multiple testing to rack up charges for her business. This is NOT medical care. Seems as if the sales reps like her though; she recommends the MOST expensive medication as the first drug of choice for a relatively common GI condition.
