This mosque is beautiful, and appears to be part of a complex, including a tomb and pretty gardens. Especially interesting to me is the elaborate tile work, and unlike some of the mosques in Istanbul, there are much fewer tourists here so you actually get to take your time and see everything up close. The tomb is set just across from the mosque and is very small and peaceful - we were in there for a good 15 minutes and were the only visitors. I love the blue and green tiles, they are absolutely gorgeous - and the complex was built in the 1400's (though had renovations because of earthquakes). After walking around, there is a very nice coffee shop nearby, though unfortunately I do not remember the name. Definitely a good place to visit in Bursa! read more
