From the start, Sophia had excellent communication and I loved our sit down Zoom chats to discuss wedding ideas, visions, timelines, expectations, etc. I am someone who is super organized and has planned numerous events for my friends and family, and finding someone just like me in a wedding planner was such an amazing gift. Sophia and I genuinely felt like friends because our conversations were so organic. Even my fiance (now husband) commented how fantastic she was with everything! Truly, truly thank you so much Sophia, you made our wedding experience such an easy, smooth, and fun time. We had Deirdre and from our first meeting with her she didn't have any wedding ideas or visions. She basically went through a timeline and asked a bunch of questions, most of which we couldn't answer because my daughter has never had a wedding before. We hired a planner to do just that, help plan and guide us. We had a bad feeling about Deirdre and contacted Blush hoping they would give us someone else. They stood behind her. I wish we pushed it because our concerns showed up on the wedding day. Deirdre was hardly around at all during the entire wedding. Apparently she had an assistant whom we never met or saw. There should have been three people from Blush for a large wedding. We communicated to her that the couple wanted to attend the cocktail party doing photos before so that could happen. Deirdre escorted them to a room for a private cocktail time, which was nice, however she never went back to get them. They finally left on their own with little time to visit with guests. My daughter kept looking over her shoulder for Deirdre, as she witnessed during her friends weddings their planners were at the brides hip most of the time. During the ceremony she wasn't behind the bride to fix her dress before walking down the aisle. It was off to the side for the pictures. Worst bride nightmare! After picking out a perfect train and veil to have it crumbled up walking down the aisle. She also didn't come the rehearsal so Blush should have replaced her then with the planner who did, as that Is part of the reason things went wrong. Things happen so I understand her not being able to make the rehearsal, however there should have been someone at the wedding who did make it to the rehearsal. This totally falls on Blush. Deirdre gave the band and the DJ the wrong opening songs. We were never introduced to the catering manager, which I shouldn't have needed, but our table was out of water and wine during most of dinner and we had to get up and find a server because I couldn't find Deirdre. She should have pointed out the host table to the manager at least. The cake was cut and served on a side table but she didn't tell the band to announce it so the majority of the cake went to waste. We extended the after party and the bus to take people back to the hotel's till 12:45. At 11:30 she announced the LAST bus was leaving so people panicked and left. She was in charge of getting the card box to my car, however the box was a little small and some cards were left on the table. There are a handful of cards guests left that never made it back to us. BLUSH single handedly ruined much of the wedding that took over a year to plan, not to mention the expense. You rely on wedding planners to help make your dream wedding a reality, not to be stressed the day of and very disappointed. I called and left a message with Brandee a couple of days ago asking to return my call, but I haven't heard back yet.

    I'm keeping this short- would not hire this coordinator at all. Jennifer was hired by my sister…read more(the bride) and I was one of 2 maids of honor. The rehearsal was a disaster as she was clearly reading everything for the first time and could not command any attention. The actual wedding day? Even worse. I, along with my mother, had to basically take over since Jennifer was clearly overwhelmed. I didn't even ask for her help after a certain point because nothing was being done right or on time. And if you take away nothing else from this message, please read this: SHE MISPLACED THEIR MARRIAGE LICENSE FOR SEVERAL HOURS. I'm not kidding. I'm skipping many things that happened because there's too much to name. The wedding party and several guests were questioning who she was and where the actual coordinator was. This was the first wedding I've ever been in and even I knew something was wrong. Genuinely concerning..'m sure I'll receive a reply stating these things didn't happen or I misconstrued events but all I know is I had to take over half of her responsibilities along with my mother and the bridesmaids. Please be careful with who you hire. Also The Knot took down this review so I would be wary of them as well!!

    I waited to post this review as I wanted to take time after our wedding to really think things…read moreover. I highly recommend you do not use this wedding planning company. My wedding was in November of 2024 at Moss Estates and this company was included as one of the options for a coordinator. I experienced nothing but unprofessionalism from Jennifer B. and my guests are still talking about how horrible she was. It started with my planning meeting with her. She was 15 minutes late. She was also late to the wedding rehearsal. I am a big planner and so I did not really need a coordinator to help with the planning and organizing before. The one person that Jennifer was supposed to reach out to was our wedding videographer. The day before the wedding the videographer reached out to me asking if everything was okay because no one had reached out to him. When we got to the rehearsal to check the set up of the reception hall, the layout that was previously discussed with Jennifer was not correct and she acted like she had no idea. On the day of the wedding, I ended up having to have family and friends step in because of her lack of work ethic. Both myself and my bridesmaid had to ask 4 different times to get extra chairs that were in the corner of the room removed. Most of the time she was no where to be found. During our planning meeting I gave specific instructions that when the wedding cake arrived my mother was to be notified as a box had to be kept. This did not happen and Jennifer threw out the box. She later put our saved cake in an empty Budweiser bottle that was in the venue's TRASH! She did not go to get the plates/utencils for the cake and I (the bride) had to leave our dinner to walk across the venue to fetch them. When it came time for the first look, I was standing outside and had to send our photographer to get the groom as it was 15 minutes past our first look time. My guests kept asking who the random person sitting down on their phone was. She did not dress professionally, did not act professionally, and truly ruined the parts of my day she was to assist with.
