Fantastic co-working space that has fast internet and even offers a one day pass…read more Mark - one of the owners - met me at the door, gave me a tour, and got me going. I will say I emailed 5 co-working spaces in the area and the Root was the only one that responded ?!?! Strange. Also - I parked "literally" 4 feet from the front door in free parking. I would recommend this place to anyone. Good coffee too.

The Root is THE spot to romanticize your work life…read more Listen, working from home is great until you realize you've been in the same sweatpants for three days and your "coworkers" (a.k.a. your pets) are demanding snacks every five minutes. Enter The Root--aka my new favorite place to feel like a productive, put-together entrepreneur . The decor? A+ vibes. It's giving Pinterest-worthy coworking goals with just the right amount of artsy coolness. The space feels so authentic to New Albany--like if your dream office and your favorite local coffee shop had a baby. They've got phone booths for private calls (so you don't have to whisper-yell on Zoom in a café), conference rooms for big boss meetings, and even event spaces if you're feeling fancy and want to host something. Oh, and did I mention the recording studio?? Podcasters, content creators, and people who love hearing their own voice--this one's for you ‍. Bottom line: If you're looking for a coworking space that's actually inspiring and not just "a table and Wi-Fi," The Root is it. Highly recommend. 12/10. Would move in if they let me. ‍

I has a different feel than other coworking spaces that I have used. I feel like I can get to know people there and if I am stuck on a idea they help me talk it out. However, I couldn't recommend this as a productive space long-term due to the stifling heat in the building, especially in the left half. After walking through a non-ADA-compliant brick hallway, single file, the heat was so bad that two people in my party had to leave the event early. I know the space still has some constructing to do, and I really hope that ADA guidelines are considered. There was only one working toilet on the first floor. For a collaborative space, I found the large room-length dividers imposing.

The coffee shop has an indoor seating area as well as a patio. The patio is absolutely stunning and extremely laid-back and extremely peaceful. They came to my home through HomeServe and immediately claimed my unit needed to be replaced. They even convinced HomeServe of this. I trusted my instincts and got a second opinion -- and guess what? The first technician who came out was Dillon, and he really took his time trying to find the main cause of the problem. He tested and adjusted different components instead of immediately pushing us to replace the entire system, clearly trying to avoid putting unnecessary financial pressure on us. Although the troubleshooting process took some time, we eventually decided that replacing the full system was the best option. What really stood out to us was that Dillon did not charge us for the service call or diagnostic fee. The installation itself also took a while, but it was obvious that the team was working hard and doing their best to get everything done right. The financing options helped reduce the financial burden as well. Overall, we felt genuinely cared for as customers. I'm happy to give Air Support a 5-star review and highly recommend them.
