I ended up ordering a pudding and cake parfait topped with fresh bananas and strawberry gelatin. It was delicious!!! Along with my son's cupcake, a cupcake in a cone, and a bottled water my bill was only 18 TL (under $9)...excellent price for what all I bought. You can also order a custom cake for any event. You can look at several of their cakes that they use as decoration along one side of the store wall. My favorite about the shop is it's charm. They have a cute dessert theme throughout the shop, and they use the cutest dessert dishes to serve your treats in. My kids loved it, and I was very pleased. Maybe you can find and get this from somewhere else, but the taste will differ then you're not eating fresh and hot. It's a soft and also crunchy with syrup on it. It is similar to Spanish dessert called Churro which is also a fried-dough pastry. Difference between them is, you eat Churro with something like chocolate pudding or hot chocolate but in Halka tatlisi there is syrup, so you don't need to eat with another dessert. We had a little difficulty trying to order so they let us walk behind the counter to show them what we wanted. My youngest loved that so he kept running behind to say hi to them. They were very loving towards him. I didn't think their vanilla ice cream was the most flavorful, but my boys loved it. I also have had creamier cheesecake too. This time I walked around the inside and checked out the restroom. I was very pleased to see a child's play area on the lower level on the way. It was a small area, but I know my kid's would love it. The restrooms were very clean and well stocked when I went in. As I walked around the shop I was able to check out all of the desserts and candies that were sold. What a huge selection! My boys both had their ice cream. My oldest ordered one of the pictures in the menu, and I ordered a different photo for my youngest. I chose the white chocolate mocha and chocolate eclairs. My husband ordered tea. I was very pleased with my order, but I was disappointed in the fact that they didn't bring my boys orders. We ended up waiting over 5 minutes after our order was served. I had to ask a server about them. They brought ice cream, but not the flavors we requested. With the language barrier we kept what they brought us, and the boys were pleased.
