I have been using them on and off for close to a month now. Always there and on time. Also cheaper than Uber, who stole money from me. June 3rd, 2025, I called twice, separate times, 9:01 am and 10:11 am, due to the dispatcher requesting to call back each time I have never experienced that before. my child was using this service to go to their first job. although the dispatcher was very nice, on the fourth day, the driver did not show up. My child was sitting outside the house waiting. We have a ring camera so I can verify this. However, there was no message left regarding the missed taxi so when I called back in the evening, just to see what it happened. We were told that the evening taxi was canceled. considering that this company participates with the tap program, which is for disabled people I found this disturbing read more

My husband and I scheduled a taxi to take us from our home to a restaurant approximately 3 miles away. Upon leaving our development he turned the wrong way which would have taken us completely around the city. We both told him this was the wrong way and to turn around. He said that's what the GPS was telling him. He did turn around, And my husband was trying to explain to him that we should not be responsible to pay for the mileage spent going the wrong way. The driver argued with my husband, threatened to call the police, and then evicted us from the cab in the middle of nowhere after dark! My husband is 70 I am 64. Kicked out of cab for no reason other than we would not allow the driver to cheat us by going the wrong way! Avoid this company at all cost!!!! They should not be in business! read more

My family and I will never ever use Yellow cab of Frederick again because their customer service is bad. I ordered a Taxicab ride on a Sunday morning on their website for a ride at 5:45 AM for Wednesday morning, three days before I needed a ride. The Yellow Cab driver showed up 35 minutes late!! The driver called me to say he had arrived to give me the ride I had ordered Three Days earlier but by the time he had arrived to give me a ride, I had decided to drive myself to my destination instead of waiting for Yellow Cab. The dispatcher on the phone has a negative attitude in that she said to me over the phone, and I quote her saying to me, " It's not my fault people won't show up for work." I thought to myself that is your excuse? Woe. Needless to say I do not recommend Yellow Cab to Anyone. read more

This cab co. is really,really bad!! Good luck if you call them, some of the drivers are fine and others are rude,take the long way and won't answer any questions. The office is a mess!! Can't understand them or them us when you call for a ride. The people in the office are very nice and polite but make alot of mistakes, just being honest about my last few rides through this company. read more

I give 3 stars due to chance. I've had both horrible and 'above and beyond' experiences from both driver and call desk. There's a lady who's an excellent conversationalist, a man who does the 'little things ' that matter. With that said there's also the angry driver who seems to hate life and have it rough, who will get mad at me because hes 45 minutes early and threatens to leave --actually left me one time though it was still 25-35 min before my pickup time-- and won't wait five minutes to let me wrap up what I was busy with. There's a sweet lady who knows how the drivers can be and helped me right away but then I can have the bad luck of encountering the one who as the other reviewer put it, is famous for " It's not my fault people don't show up for work" . Yes it's not her fault but that attitude definitely is and absolutely unnecessary when I was just a young teenager calling to check in on my late cab. Back to the rating, I give it a three star based on chance. I havent forgotten my experiences but I can tell you it's up to chance, just keep in mind that for some this is their only income, for that I'm willing to roll the dice and hope for the kind driver, after all it's just a short car ride and not every day. read more

I called Yellow cab a second time after waiting 45 minutes for my cab.The female Yellow Cab Dispatcher who answered the phone is the most low class unprofessional ignorant person that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I called again because the cab had not arrived in 45 min. SO I called to get an ETA or to find how much longer I would have to wait. She yelled I could either wait for the cab or not and then hung up. Just like that! I was agog. Im incredibly surprised that they are even in business. They suck ! The person answering the phone was a little impersonal but not rude. I called for service Saturday morning and the cab arrived within 30 minutes. The driver, John, was pleasant. I left my keys in the vehicle when I reached my destination. I didn't realize it at the moment... John discovered them and called me to let me know I left them. I returned his call and told him I was at the grocery store. He asked which one and I told him. He brought my keys to me within 10 minutes. Best Customer Care Ever. Thanks, this restored my faith in mankind. He could've "tossed them in the trash" but he went above and beyond his obligation. I will definitely use them again. If I get "John", it's an added bonus.
