I really didn't want this to be a "cheesy" shoot with being naked and my husband being topless and us gazing at each other..I personally dislike that style. I wanted a nice memory, classic outfits and nothing too wild and weird. I came prepared with outfits but she also had her own vision and had fabrics prepared to get a certain "look." The outcome of her work is nothing short of FABULOUS. The entire shoot, we had such a good time and she put me at ease and made me comfortable. The resulting photos were absolutely stunning..beyond my wildest expectations. I'm completely IN LOVE with Tutti's style because it's intimate, beautiful, and tastefully seductive. I love the way she highlights the natural parts of your body with different shadows (e.g. collar bones, back curves, and all those other sexy lines in our bodies). Also, you guys, she is so sweet and easy to be around. I did not feel awkward around her AT ALL! It was natural to be nervous at first, but have a few sips of wine before & during the shoot and you'll have the best time of your life...seriously. One of the best experiences of my life…read more Similar to many of Tutti's clients, this was the first time I'd ever done a professional photo shoot, let alone a boudoir experience. Not only that, but I'm the type of woman who shies away from most photos, as I just don't consider myself photogenic. Boy, was I wrong. With Tutti's vision, moral support and guidance, these photos came out spectacularly. I had an immense appreciation for a woman's perspective on "sexy" - every photo she took was just so flattering, tasteful and yes, crazy-sexy. For the first time, I stared at photos of myself with a slack jaw. How do I look this good? Who is this woman? I'm so immensely smitten with these photos, you guys have no idea. From the get-go, Tutti was so professional - her responses always came lightning-fast, and she was thrilled to answer any and every question I had. Correspondence, payment and scheduling was a breeze. Left me wondering why every service couldn't have its sh!t together as expertly as Tutti has hers! I sprung for the hair & makeup, and if you have the means, I HIGHLY recommend that you do as well. I was in fantastic hands, and Tutti clearly has an in with some of the best hairdressers and makeup artists in the city, because the results were top notch. (I asked for a cat-eye, and I'm just bummed I'll never again be able to don another cat-eye quite as perfect as the one I received for this shoot lol). As many women here have said, I really do hope that every woman has an opportunity to experience something like this in their lifetime. Through Tutti's lens, I really saw a different side of myself. I saw myself as beautiful and sexy. Like many others, I've done battle with body issues most of my life, so taking the plunge to do this was terrifying - absolutely TERRIFYING. But under Tutti's care, I really felt so at ease and inspired. She's a terrific director: gave me all the ideas for poses (thank goodness, because I'm clueless otherwise!) but also had a keen understanding of what was "natural", so she gave me room to "do me" as well. I'm a scientist by trade, and analytical thinker, so I knew I needed collaborative help with a artistic mind to bring my project into fruition. I got lucky... I discovered a "Diamond In The Rough" in Bushwick Brooklyn through a referral. It was Iris, a photographer who sat with me for about 20 minutes before the shoot, getting to know me and my vision. The time we spent together chatting, built a sense of trust, she knew what I wanted from the photo session. We came up with ideas we both could agree upon. I knew my ask was unusual. I had a horrific past 6 years, back-to-back trauma. I loathe having my picture taken. I never know what to do with my body or face or anything, so self conscious. I hurt my face. Had 10 stiches a couple of weeks prior and I wanted to show all of that, I didn't want to hide anything. I wanted to express an authentic me. Scars and all. My candids are the best usually when I'm not "trying.. I don't wear makeup. I'm simplistic . But she displayed me as simply beautiful. She made me feel beautiful. I love entirely how she has a great listening ear, she makes you feel heard, yet she pushes to get the best out of you. She set the right tone with simple props, with the Wardrobe I chose to wear, to communicate my message. Her skills captured me in a way that I couldn't have done without her. And I could tell she enjoyed the collaborative process. I received professional feedback from my artsy friends and family ,, they all agreed she "nailed it". The experience was exhilarating, but physically exhausting. she choreographed artistic poses, and personally demonstrated them, poses I didn't think my body could handle, I was sore for two days LOL, ! This was something totally out of my comfort zone as I am and always have been very self conscious of my body but it was a great opportunity to try and overcome that while providing my husband with a unique and special gift. Once I got in the room with Irina I felt good, still self conscious but she was so sweet and accommodating that I trusted her completely. She could tell how nervous I was so we kept it simple but by the end (with the help of Sade on the iPod) I felt like a goddess! We ended up with the most gorgeous, tastefully sexy photos, they were better then I could've hoped for.
