I had the most amazing experience with Nomi during my photo shoot! I was soooo nervous walking in, but the moment I stepped into the studio, she instantly calmed my nerves and made me feel so comfortable and confident. She really took the time to listen to me, and that made all the difference. I felt seen, heard, and truly taken care of. The photos turned out absolutely incredible. I loved each and every pose. It was such a total badass experience! Every shot felt classy, beautiful, and so me. I would recommend this experience to every woman who's even thinking about it, if you have even a little inclination, just pull the trigger. You will not regret it! read more

I could not recommend getting a boudoir shoot with Nomi enough. I went in thinking I was getting the photos taken as a surprise for my husband, but the real impact was the effect the pictures had on me. We've all seen bodies looking great in pictures, but I never thought that was me. Even seeing Nomi's work on her socials, I doubted. But once I got there, everything was so easy. The poses, the looks - it was excellent. And I looked unexpectedly, extremely hot. Also it was just fun!!! Nomi really knows what she is doing! read more

What an incredible day. This was something I was thinking about doing for years after having a double mastectomy. Going through as many surgeries I have had, your perception of yourself changes. From the first call I had with Nomi she made me feel so comfortable in my own skin even before the photoshoot. Nomi made me welcomed and right at home once stepping foot in her studio and we got to know eachother which really helped me from the first picture she took of me where my guard was already down. I highly recommend working with Nomi; she makes you feel empowered and strong on top of her incredible photos. Thank you Nomi! read more

Amazing experience. I've always wanted to do this as someone who has struggled with body image most of my life. Nomi feels like a friend you've known all your life basically instantly. What could have easily been wildly awkward and scary felt (almost) easy. You will see yourself in a completely different light by the end of the session. I gave the photos to my now husband for our wedding which was a present for us both as I've never felt so powerful and comfortable in my own skin and honestly it made me have even more fun at our wedding because I really truly felt beautiful. You also get to see the photos same day in the studio which is unlike any other photography experience I've had. I've already sent a friend to Nomi and can't recommend her enough! read more

I am obsessed with Nomi's boudoir art! After following her art on social media, I decided I wanted too to feel as luscious and sexy as the women in her portfolio. Nomi's studio is beautiful and inspiring, and Nomi's hospitality and attitude are so welcoming and embracing. I was ready to do anything she asked me to do! I was excited to see the rough cut of the amazing photos of mine she took, and I can't wait for the final images (I got sooo excited and even paid for additional footage as I found it hard to eliminate so many great photos...). I look forward to making this a new birthday tradition of mine, hopefully on different sets :-) A great gift for yourself or your loved ones! read more

We started the session with a tarot card pull and that set the tone for the day. I literally have never felt so beautiful, or empowered in my entire life. Nomi has a gift, and the skills to back it up. Go for the sexy photos, leave with more confidence, a new sense of empowerment and appreciation for your body, and potentially a new best friend. Her space is cozy, beautiful, and welcoming, and her sweet, non-judgmental, authentic energy makes you feel safe and supported throughout the whole process. Nomi coaches you on how to pose, jumps in with her expert eye to adjust and gently direct you so that you actually look like a goddess in your pics. Nomi is simply incredible! I booked a package mostly as a birthday gift for my husband, but really -- it ended up being a special gift to myself, too. Like most people, I was definitely nervous beforehand, but Nomi put me at ease and I immediately felt like a total sexy badass (and was walking on air for days afterwards). Not only was Nomi willing to answer all of my questions beforehand, she guided me through the process, directing me with poses and small adjustments to make sure that my photos came out beautifully. She also enthusiastically embraced a few silly ideas I had about photos I wanted. As a person who has struggled with disordered eating and body image in the past, it was incredibly empowering to work with Nomi and I cannot wait to do another photoshoot in the future! In addition to the amazing experience -- the photos themselves are simply fantastic! I had so much trouble picking my favorites because there were so many good ones to choose from. And needless to say: my husband was absolutely thrilled! So if you are vaguely considering a boudoir shoot -- or looking at other photographers -- book with Nomi immediately. read more

Loooooong over due review. I had a photo shoot last year before V-day with the lovely Nomi. She is the best. She is so sweet and made me feel super comfortable before, during and after my shoot. It was a long trek to get there from where I live, but let me tell you that it was worth it. The whole experience, from the hair/makeup (by the gorgeous Jane) to the actual picture taking to the photo reveal was a breeze and time flew! I felt empowered and beautiful and I can't wait for my next shoot! :) Check out Nomi's Insta page: @boudoirbynomi Hair/makeup: @janerodbeauty read more

Where do I even start? I've had the idea of doing a boudoir photo shoot after some lovely photos on Tumblr. I dwelled on the thought for about a 1- 1 1/2 year(s) until I got to browsing on The Knot and stumbled upon Boudoir By Nomi! The reviews really compelled me to reach out to her as I had a gut feeling she would be the perfect one. Lo and behold, I had a session schedule a week or two after my purchase and I couldn't have been happier. The experience was unreal and I literally felt beautiful. Between the celebrity like experience of having my hair and makeup done by Stylebox and Nomi's gifted photography skills had me absolutely loving it! The photos came out stunning. Just like most of the women leaving a review, this was my first experience in doing a boudoir photo shoot. Prior to the shoot, I felt so nervous and intimidated and kept on second-guessing if I made the right decision. However, after meeting Nomi, I felt immediately at ease. She is such a professional, and clearly knows her craft. She is warm, caring and a non-judgemental person. She took the time to get to know me so there was no animosity when the shoot started. She instructed me with the right poses and facial expressions that would suit me best. I could not believe I was the woman in those photos. Needless to say all the photos came out beautiful, elegant and just downright amazing. The best part of it all is that I enjoyed the whole experience. Jane, the makeup artist did wonders as well. She is an excellent make up artist and made me feel very comfortable. She communicated what she had in mind in terms of the look we were going for and she transformed me into a beautiful version of myself. I intended this to be a gift for my significant other for the holidays but in the end, it turned out more of a gift for myself because I felt so beautiful, confident and empowered walking out of that studio. I know that I will always look back at these photos years from now and have a smile on my face reminiscing about what a great experience I had. Thank you Nomi and Jane! read more

Nomi is truly amazing, and not just her photography. My Uber was in an accident while we were on the way over so I was pretty shaken up, she hugged me, sat me down and we just talked until I was ready to start. In those moments before the shoot when we were talking, she asked all the right questions to understand what it meant to me to being taking these photos, and her warmth and sharing with me about her own life, really eased my nerves and set the tone for an incredible experience. She was so patient & encouraging during the shoot I felt like a star! So helped me nail all the poses and caught all the right angles. The pictures came out better than I could've imagined! Super sexy, but so natural that the real me still shined through. I look forward to working with Nomi again in the future, and if you are thinking about getting boudoir photos taken, she is the best thing that could happen to you!! read more

Truly, truly recommend this is experience with Nomi. She is super professional, accommodating and such a positive person to be around and work with. I had scoped her IG page for a while since she photographed my GF back in 2019. I finally took the plunge when she offered an end of the year special. She reached out as soon as I paid my deposit to set up a call to go over details, get to know me a little and reserve a date. I also really appreciated her payment plan option which helped my budget tremendously. The day of her and Cheena (amazing and beautiful makeup artist) just made me feel so comfortable in my skin, in what I was doing. The prosecco helped also LOL Anyways the process was simpler than I thought and Nomi was great on giving instructions and showing how to pose. The feedback was great, made me feel like a million bucks! Although I brought my own lingerie options I went by her expert recommendation and used three options from her lingerie closet. Definitely don't regret it so don't be oppose to using these options as they are all cleaned and sanitized accordingly after every session. Anyways I chose my pictures the same day and about three weeks later received my edited copies. So grateful for the experience and both of these ladies for hearing me out and making me feel super sensual and attractive. Bought this for myself for no special occasion so don't wait for an excuse. You DESERVE this! Thank you Nomi and Cheena you are both god sent :) read more

Booking my shoot with Nomi was one of the best decisions I've made all year! I was feeling a bit low about how I looked/felt and wanted to do something that would spark some self-love and couldn't be more happy with the decision. Nomi immediately made me feel safe and comfortable in the space and Jane did an amazing job on my makeup/hair. I truly felt beautiful in her gorgeous gorgeous studio! Nomi went through outfit choices with me (I brought one and she loaned me the others). The whole experience left me feeling happy and confident and super sexy! I would do it again in a heart beat and recommend it to everyone I talk to. xoxox read more

#SCAMMER #ALERT #NYCMODELS Ive been a model for 7 years. Ive never seen a photographer falsely advertise a Model Call / Casting call to get customers. This photographer advertised a MODEL CALL on instagram, encourages you to email her, then sends a generic email with a PRICE SHEET as an attachment. As a professional in the community it's infuriating. As a model, I'm thinking this is a professional photographer, this is a Gig/project/photoshoot, they want to work with me. Paid or compensated, I was willing to work with this photographer. Then via a LONG email, she states she REQUIRES a yelp AND google review, then attaches the most ridiculous price list I've-ever seen. $30 for 1 DIGITAL image , $250 for 10 DIGITAL images. Screenshots attached as Proof. Beware of DISHONEST SCAMMER photographers who have to LIE about shoots to SNEAKILY get customers. No one cares about your COSMO feature, your a dishonest jerk who can't get clients just off of your work. read more

Nomi is fantastic! I decided to step out of my comfort zone a little and have some pictures taken. I was definitely a little nervous, but Nomi made me feel so comfortable, we had a great conversation while I was getting my hair and makeup done by Jane (who is also fantastic by the way), and when it came time to take the pictures, I felt so comfortable and at ease, it was as though i was hanging out w/ a friend. I'm so happy with how the pictures came out, and I felt the pricing was definitely reasonable considering the quality of the pictures and the overall experience. Thank you, Nomi! read more

I decided to do a boudoir shoot for my husband's birthday. I wasn't sure really what to expect going in to it and was a little nervous I would not know how to pose the right way. The moment I stepped foot in Nomi's studio my nerves went away. Nomi guides you through each pose and tells you where to look for each shot. I was so comfortable with her and clicked with her right away. She even showed me some pictures on her camera as we were going along. Her studio space is beautiful and full of light and has multiple sections to take photos in. I love that you are able to see all of your photos at the end of the session. The hardest part for me was choosing my favorite shots! It amazed me at how great they all came out! Nomi is amazing at what she does so if you are considering getting boudoir shots done Nomi is the woman to go to!! read more

First off, I don't think I picture well in photos and am extremely camera shy, so I wanted to break a little piece of that barrier by doing a boudoir photo shoot. With Nomi I felt an instant connection, especially when she personally wanted to chat on the phone to talk about my objectives. Every step of the way--from booking the shoot location (which we hit a few road bumps), to the make-up/hair looks (Jane worked her magic on the stress pimple I had on my chin), to throwing on music to calm my nerves (obscure Indie music), to the liquid courage (yummy Prosecco) --Nomi guided me through each and every pose without feeling uncomfortable or foolish. She made the whole photo shoot fun and somehow managed to make my "awkward" smile look beautiful. That's when you know you got a good photographer!! She gave her honest opinions on which photos I should keep and was quick to send back to me the results. I am more than just satisfied and still shocked on how beautiful the photographs turned out! Highly recommend this lovely woman on both a personal and professional level! read more

Run, don't walk to this gal! She is a master with her craft. Just had my shoot yesterday, and was absolutely blown away by her magic! I was nervous and unsure of which outfits and shoes so I brought options. She asked questions to understand my vision, then helped me decide. I also wasn't exactly feelin' myself or my body, but she made me feel so at ease, that by the time we started shooting, I didn't feel awkward at all. She knows exactly what angles and poses work, and shows you before it's your turn. She will direct everything so you don't have to overthink or worry about it. The only difficult part was choosing which photos to keep! Can't wait to do this again, and will definitely be recommending her to all of my friends. read more
