She was emailed directly by a woman affiliated with the company who requested payment via Venmo. After the payment was sent--using the exact information provided in that email--the same person denied ever sharing a Venmo account and claimed they never received anything. We contacted the police immediately, and after reviewing the evidence, they confirmed this situation is highly suspicious and likely fraudulent. A formal investigation is underway. They came out and gave me an estimate for cleaning the gutters and replacing one joint. I…read morespecifically asked for cages to be placed over the downspouts to prevent debris from going down and was told they would be. The estimate was more than expected, but everything is these days, so I said sure let's go ahead. They said it would be two weeks, but it was closer to four. When they were done, they had neglected to put the cages over the downspouts. When I called them and told them this, they said they had forgotten to put that in the estimate and it would be $100 more for them to come out and install the cages. I was not happy about that because I had asked for it to be included and was told it would be included. The guy said he understood and would see if he could give me a better price. Now I got the new estimate and it's $150, for something that was supposed to have been included in the original estimate. Not good.

I had estimates from several other companies and this was 1/3 to half less expensive compared to almost everyone else. In terms of timing it could not have been easier to schedule them coming out. While other contractors said they needed to tear open the walls, or re-do the entire French drain (requiring us to spend tens of thousands of dollars in treatment and then renovation), Tom laid out a plan that was completely affordable, so that we wouldn't have to spend one dollar more than we had to. He left an industrial dehumidifier running at no extra charge to see how managing the air would help. In the end, we spent very little on mold remediation, and he offered good advice on how to continue to have a clean and safe finished basement

J&J was contracted to wash the house and roof which was covered in moss…read more They came out and started to wash. (However, the lead was more interested in his phone.) They said they need to treat the roof and let it soak and they would be out next week. Over 2 weeks later, they texted to schedule the follow-up visit. I took off from work to be at the location. Which, they do not show up for and said they would call back to reschedule. About a week later, I get a call saying they are heading over. So, I have to drop what I'm doing and head over to the house. They finished up, and I walked around, and everything looks okay, but there is one side of the roof I just cannot see from the ground. A few weeks pass, and I'm finally at the right angle and I can clearly see that the roof still has moss all over it! I took a picture and questioned them about it. Their response was the following: First was, that side of the house was never in my quote. So, I send he the message back to him showing that, we never discussed any exclusions. Then he said, that verbally, he said he didn't do that roof. Which we never discussed that. Why on earth would I only want 3/4 of my roof cleaned when I paid for the entire house and roof to be washed plus tip ($900)? They are refusing to come back and correct the problem, so I will have to have someone else come out and finish the job.

NOTHING was covered, and the smell of bleach was everywhere, including inside my house. My throat burned from it! My herb garden was completely exposed and bathed in these chemicals! All the rest of the gardens were fully exposed as well!!! I am livid he used these chemicals around my food and completely contaminated them! His excuse? He showed me the plastic he got for the job sitting inside his truck. He claims there was no wind so he didn't think he needed it. Said he knocked on my door but I wasn't home, so he thought it was OK to not use the plastic covers. Yet he didn't call or text me to check if I was OK with that. Why???
