Well, it's certainly memorable. Though hard to do justice in any attempt at description. It's…read moreeccentric. It's odd. It's offbeat. It's one-of-a-kind. This is five stars for odd/ weird/ out there.we went based on the name and the photos and proximity to Arsenal. There was no review and we had no idea what we were getting into. I keep thinking this is the kind of quirky place millennials who love rewatching "Harold and Maude" would love. You pay $12 entry fee, and are given a fancy map of the place, and a headset to listen to descriptions at each of the numbers along the disjointed path. Starting with color photocopies of world famous art. (Never seen that before). The very random art collection is disbursed through the building, as are some working artists and their work. There were also a couple rooms with wax figures of some famous persons through history. It's a mish-mash of all kinds of random stuff you'd find at yard sales, or scavenger hunts. In the attic space, more randomness, including a mini theatre that happened to be playing old Downton Abbey episodes while we were there. The best part of the place we didn't see much of: that they provide studio space for 50 artists.

Lovely place to learn how to work with clay! My friend recommended Atelier Forma to me after I had…read morecomplained about how difficult it was to find pottery classes in the city. After our discussion, I promptly signed up for an 8-week wheel throwing session. In the span of 2 months, I learned how to wedge clay, create cups, bowl and plates, trim and glaze my pieces. It was challenging, yes, but the feeling I got when I held my finished product was more than worth it. What set this studio apart was its philosophy to push students to explore their creativity. We were taught the basics, but after that the sky was the limit. Bojanna, the owner and teacher, was incredibly patient with us and had boundless, contagious energy. In addition to teaching and making beautiful pottery, she also hosts various arts and crafts classes at the studio. Spots sell out fast so I would advise to sign up to the newsletter if you're interested in trying this out. I loved my experience so much that I've already signed up for their open studios!

This is a fantastic studio and Bojana is amazing! What I love about this studio is: - Variety of clay options - porcelain, speckled, black - Variety of glaze options - 40+ colours of over glaze and under glaze. - Warm welcoming atmosphere & positive vibes - Great teachers and students - Proximity to Fabre metro - Very reasonable prices for classes and open studio, both of which come with 1/2 lb of clay, firing, and glazing. If you're looking for a new hobby or place to continue an old one, look no further, Atelier Forma is for you.
