Dr. Cassidy was strongly recommended for my mother's tooth extraction by our dentist (who we trust implicitly) but seemed irritated or impatient with my mom's ALZ and anxiety. I understand that those behaviors are challenging and upsetting for some people but it has me in tears thinking of his interaction with her at the consult and on the day of the extraction. He was cold, brusque, and talked over the top of my mother as she was speaking. One of my mother's behaviors is repeating herself or asking the same question again and again. This was not received well by the doctor, and his tone made that clear. When he showed this behavior at the consult, I chalked it up to a busy or not great day for him. To see it again yesterday was heartbreaking. I wish more than ever that I could have been permitted to be with her during the procedure. How did he behave with her when I wasn't in the room? The staff were all extremely kind and pleasant, including a word of compassion from the staff member who wheeled my mom to the car. I felt compelled to share my impressions and perception of our family's experience.

Thankfully, Dr. Cassidy took my concerns very seriously and got me through the surgery with absolutely no noticeable stress to my jaw. The entire staff here was very knowledgeable and professional. All of my appointments ran on time. Though Dr. Cassidy and his associate run three separate offices in the area, this did not impact his availability. You can schedule your surgery in a different location from your consult if it works into your schedule better. Dr. Cassidy even called me to see how I was doing the evening after my surgery. He and his staff take good care of you.

I waited in the room for a while to see Dr. Kerr, so part of me wanted to write a scathing review,…read morebut after meeting with her, I realized why she was delayed: she really REALLY cares about her patients. She wanted to know about me before she wanted to know about my teeth, which was refreshing. She is so sweet. I was skeptical walking into an orthodontist as a 25 year old, and while this place is aesthetically designed for pre-teens, the care is truly universal. I'm very excited to continue this process with their service.

From the…read morebeginning, Dr. Grace Kerr prioritized the idea of maintaining my side profile, something I had never asked for, but I trusted her judgement as a medical professional. The outcome of this led to my teeth being pulled out forwards, exposing the roots out of the front of my jaw bone, causing them to become so unstable that I was advised to stop all contact sports due to how they were positioned over the years by Dr. Grace Kerr. I was told I would be out of braces by my sophomore year of high school, but I am now 22 still undergoing corrective work elsewhere to fix the issues developed during my treatment at Grace Kerr Orthodontics. This has significantly affected my confidence and no real accountability was ever taken. I'm sure she has moved on from my case, but I still think about her, and am forced to deal with the repercussions of what she did to me every single day. Based on my experience, I do not feel Dr. Grace Kerr can be trusted with anyone's dental care.

I just had my wisdom teeth extracted this morning by Dr. Wilcox at the Madeira location. When I…read morefound out that I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed ASAP, I originally booked an appointment at another office in Kentucky. My anxiety rose when I read terrible reviews about the doctor I had scheduled with. So I searched around for another surgeon. I found a lot of reviews about Cincinnati Oral Surgery and was excited to make an appointment. My whole experience was FANTASTIC from start to finish. When I called to make a consultation and a surgery this week they got me in! I was grateful for the opening. Anywho, I had never had surgery before so I was a nervous mess before the consultation. As soon as I stepped into the office I felt calm because the staff was so incredibly nice and friendly. My Doctor's assistant was amazing! She helped me calm my nerves and was super personable. When I met Dr.Wilcox at the consultation I was amazed at how informative he was. I asked several questions, he was patient and thorough. It was great because he didn't make me feel stupid for asking questions. The morning of the surgery I was greeted by a nurse who also calmed my nerves. Very friendly and personable! Definitely made me feel comfortable. Dr. Wilcox and his team did a great job removing my wisdom teeth. I currently have minor swelling and no pain! I also enjoyed the fact that they have a "recovery room." When hearing experiences from friends and family they said that they were immediately rushed out after surgery. Nope, not here! I am definitely going to recommend this place to others. Thankful for such a great experience.

Horrible experience at the Madeira location trying to have my impacted wisdom teeth removed. I have…read moresevere dental anxiety so the dentist is the last place I want to be already but usually the staff tries to help with that, this one not so much. They require you to sign forms up front saying you will pay in full if insurance doesn't pay. I told them that I could not do that. I could make payments on what insurance doesn't cover but there is no way I could pay in full. They made it clear if I didn't sign then they would not treat me. So you want me to lie, basically? So I said I would provisionally sign the form but that wasn't good enough. I signed the form and sat back down to wait because I had already taken time off work and drove all the way there on $5/gallon gas and my teeth still hurt. Then I could hear the office staff talking about me through their little glass window. I am hearing impaired and I could still hear them. When I finally got called back 45 mins after my appointment time, I realized there was no point paying $160 for a consult when they already lost my trust and I was not going to let them do surgery on me. They made it clear they were in it for the money only and not to help people. I can't say anything about the dentist because I never met him but his name is on the door and that is how his practice is run so I take it he has the same attitude. I left before I could even sit in the chair and went back to work. Don't let them lie to you and tell you that is normal. I already had a free consult with a oral surgeon, who took X-rays and then told me he did not have the skill necessary to help me so they didn't charge me and he wrote me a prescription for the infected tooth so it would stop hurting so much. The difference between someone who actually cares and a place that puts money over your welfare is too great to ignore. Now I have to go find another oral surgeon that takes my insurance, my recommendation is that if you thinking about going here, you should do the same.
