BUYER BEWARE! We ordered a tent, 6 tables and 36 chairs for…read morea graduation party. We were return clients as we had done the same 4 years earlier for another child of ours. The website shows beautiful white chairs and nice tables. We had signed a contract for the tent, tables and chairs approximately 2 weeks before our party. The tent arrived 2 days before our party and was in good shape and the owner, Mike, was polite and put up the tent. We had to call back later that day to ask if the chairs and table were coming later. Mike told us we did not order tables and chairs and pulled up our contract only to realize that we HAD ordered tables and chairs....dead silence, oh you did order tables and chairs. He assured us that he had table and chairs and said he would deliver those the next day which was the day before our event and would leave them outside as we were not home that day. They were delivered as promised. The day of our party I start to arrange the tables and chairs only to find that Mike had delivered dirty tables, covered in tape and black grime that did not come off when scrubbed with cleaner. We figure we can buy inexpensive plastic table covers, no problem. However, the black stains and grime were still visible after being covered. Not appetizing to be eating on what looked like dirty tables even though they were covered. Then as I placed the chairs around the tables I realized that they were covered in mold, paint and more black grime. I spent an hour cleaning the chairs so not to ruin my guests clothing. During the party I had a guest ask if I "rented" the tables and chairs from a flea market vendor? He noticed they were not your normal quality party tables and chairs. When Mike came to pick up the equipment my wife told Mike that we were not pleased with the quality and cleanliness of the tables and chairs, which Mike responded with with "I'm sorry, I'm going to pack up now". I called Mike the following day to get his side of the story and he started by saying he was not sure he remembered me from the day before when he picked up his equipment! I reminded him about the dirty table and chairs and he then remembered and again "I'm really sorry". He told me that I should of called the day of the party, 5 to 6 hours before it began to let him know we were not happy with his equipment. I asked what he would of done hours before my event? He replied I don't know, what do you want from me? My response, NOTHING, just to let all know that you do not own up to your mistakes, contracts or even offer a small discount for delivering poor quality equipment. No offer of any kind of compensation even for my cleaning his dirty equipment. Please do not take this as my way of seeking compensation, I am not in need of a refund nor would I accept one at this point. I am truly amazed that he felt he delivered an acceptable solution to his error in forgetting what he had wrote up in his contract, well he did deliver 6 tables and 36 chairs so I guess he is a man of his word. BUYER BEWARE!!!
