What's even cooler is that the original red brick laboratory building still stands, and is the only surviving Tesla lab today. Wardenclyffe was to be the prototype station for what he imagined as a grid of towers spanning the globe, realizing his dream of worldwide wireless power. #tesla I would like to learn more about this place and find out if they offer tours of the facility and grounds. https://teslasciencecenter.org/history/tower/

The amazing thing about this place is it is where Tesla worked and lived, right here on Long Island. The history surrounding this place is really awesome and if you do any kind of research on this brilliant inventor you will find that many things you thought were invented by other's were really ideas and inventions of his. I am so happy that the people working to renovate this historical site are so dedicated and passionate about spreading the word to the public. I hope the next event here is even better than this previous one and it just keeps getting bigger and better. If you live on Long Island and especially around the Shoreham area you really need to get involved and help spread the word about this amazing historical site right in our own back yard! Thank you to all the volunteers who dedicate so much of their time to spread the word and especially to Marc Alessi, Executive Director for his awesome tour of the facility, and for always being so approachable, patient and friendly :-) You can learn more at: malessi@teslasciencecenter.org www.teslasciencecenter.org

They had a great assortment of machines and loved that some with the same themes were next to each other. It was clean and well designed, with the charming relics in the way back. There were some old style arcade games up front too which was a fun surprise. I love me some Space Invaders. It wasn't crowded when we went and we played a little before dinner and then again after... I'd love to see it busier because I hate the idea it might not stick around... A really fun way to spend an afternoon or evening. If you haven't, check it out. Pinball is fun!

The folks/patrons that were there were very pleasant. No marauders or riffraff. They charged $20 and you could play as much as you want for as long as you want. That is a unimaginable bargain. Frankly, it is a no-brainer. Not that this dilute the value, but be aware of a couple things. First, there is nothing to eat or drink in the establishment. I don't think this is such a bad idea because food and drinks can spill or get all over the equipment in the machines and ruin them. So you're probably thinking....I will take a break and walk to one of the juxtaposed restaurants. No. You'll have to pay again. Full price. Maybe bring your own snack and beverage--if they let you. I'm not sure. Definitely come here and don't batt and eyelash!, you'll be glad you did!!!!
