Most of the time he isn't at the church after 5 on a Saturday but I like to check sometimes. Another friend wanted to come here to see streetfighter the rolling stones tribute band. I'm not overly crazy about the rolling stones but I'm open to checking out stuff I'm not too familiar with and getting exposed to new things. So I told my friend I'd go with her. I think they are open to the public after a certain time so if you aren't a member you can still stroll on in. Smart move on their part because they'll get extra business that way. I wasn't too much of a fan of the band playing but it was really nice to be on the beach hearing some music that part was pretty awesome. I walked down to the beach area to check it out. My friend wanted to eat and I didn't have a lot of money so we shared a pizza. She picked the toppings. Many times I'm a people pleaser. I just don't want to get into an argument and will comply with the wishes of others pretty easily if I am okay with it so I let her pick the toppings. Overall it was a nice experience being here and I would come here again especially if they had a band I like better than the rolling stones tribute band.

My girlfriend sent me this link from a Facebook page which has 4.5 star reviews for this place…read more After the fact, looking at YELP, I found out the reviews were not so stellar. I should've looked into the reviews on all platforms before making reservations. It shows, what looks like professional Hawaiian performers on the flyer. So we decided to take her daughter as a surprise and thought it would be a great night to sit by the beach. Have dinner and watch the show. The price for a buffet dinner and the show is $59.95 for adults and $29.95 for kids 12 and under. Now I didn't mind paying the price because I thought even if the food wasn't going to be so good, at least the show would make up for it. CONS/CONS AND MORE CONS: Unfortunately this flyer was very deceiving. The show was not by any means performed by the people they advertised on the flyer. The amateur performance was definitely not what we expected. The food was worse. They had a grilling station with shrimp and pineapple chicken. The only edible thing was the shrimp and grilled pineapple. The chicken was tasteless and dry. Don't even get me started on the buffet. The pasta was inedible. How can anyone make rigatoni with red sauce taste so bad. When you're charging that price for food, it should at least be served hot. All the dishes were cold and tasted sub par. The only thing that tasted half decent was the mozzarella sticks. The food was laid out nicely in chafers, but the sternos were not being kept up with. Our waiter was quick to come to the table to take our drink order. Normally water is automatically served, but not here. 1/2 hour later he comes back with two of the non alcoholic drinks and tells me they can't make my drink from the menu. So I ask for water for the whole table and 15 minutes later, we only get one cup of water. So after the show, we didn't even bother to get dessert because of our experience with the food. We were so disappointed with the whole experience. For $59.95, I ate three pieces of shrimp (which is all they served you), one mozzarella stick and some of the macaroni salad which was not so good. But I was hungry so I had to eat something. Most of the food we put on our plates was left our plates. My girlfriend asked to speak to the manager and see if they could do something with our bill. Although they didn't charge for the child and the two non alcoholic drinks, the overall experience was not worth $142 and change. We were still going home hungry and disappointed. Definitely not worth the price. But we live and learn. I would say if you have younger children and spend the day at the beach, then go to this amateur show, it may be worth it for some people. For anyone looking for an and authentic Hawaiian style food and show, this is definitely not the place to go. The one star is for the beach view, table seating and the waiter who was very apologetic.

The food at ABC hasn't always been the best, but I am really impressed with the new menu and the much better food quality. It really goes well with the beautiful new outdoor eating area. I wish I had gotten the chef's name, but he's been popping outside and checking in with tables, which I really appreciate. Besides him, the staff is ALWAYS so friendly and attentive. This past week, I had the pizza (shoutout to Mike!), turkey club, turkey wrap, buffalo chicken bites, California chicken sandwich, and lobster roll. I have no complaints, except I was so full I had to roll back to Boston. I'm loving ABC's glow up. This is such a great club with great people, and now the food is just as good.

There was more than enough room for them and their friends to be comfortable. Also, we had friends come meet us and they rented the studio right next door. It was perfect! If you have a large group, you may want to consider renting many of Greg's Villas. It was nice to be next to each other and share a deck, but it was also nice that we all had our own space. The Villas were as clean as a beach house could be. It was clear to us that Greg takes a lot of pride in his rentals and who he rents to, and we appreciated that. It's great that Greg lives right there and can answer any questions you have. Rent from Greg, you will NOT be sorry! We finally found the perfect rental at Kismet, and we can't wait to come back again very soon! Thanks, Greg!

I recently came to Catalina as a guest, yet again and it's always a nice escape and to relax. The Pool is always kept clean and at a great temperature and the beach club also have their own chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Also you have the showers in the cabana and locker to help clean off any sand before it goes in your car. (I am really into keeping all sand from beaches out of my car) Also I come to the club as a guest, invited by a member. I do not get a day pass for a Cabana or locker. I am an invited guest.
