I felt like they understood what we wanted from the photos of our event I was excited after our initial meeting, but they far exceeded expectations! They were able to capture amazing candid shots without being an intrusive presence. They thoroughly did their prep work and did a walk through with us weeks before the event to plan the staging of shots and become familiar with the venue. All their initial hard work paled to what they both were doing the day of the wedding. They captured the event from set-up to closing with gorgeous images. It is incredible what they captured and great sequencing of shots. Wow, I am blown away by their skill. Both Rich and Tony are very personable and made us feel very comfortable. They are nice guys with amazing photo talent.

If you are looking for great Seattle-based photographers... stop looking and call Vecta. Michelle and I couldn't be happier with our engagement pictures. They took a lot of fun, romantic, and silly shots for us. And they were very open to our ideas and input. In no way were they pushy or hard to work with. Thank you Vecta Photography!

I couldn't believe that some of the nature shots were taken by someone who was just starting out with her own business. Not long after I got engaged, I starting looking at photographers and their work was ok and their prices weren't! I wanted someone who would blow me away without blowing my money away as well. That's Shauna!!! Her prices were fair and her work is AMAZING!!!! I used her for our engagement photos as well and not only was she very professional, but she's fun. She's very personable and approachable. She's very good at making you feel comfortable and she makes photo shoots very fun. I highly reccomend Shauna Kruse for documenting major events in your life. People on facebook who I barely know are commenting that these are the best wedding shots they have ever seen. They captured everything from the swoosh of my dress to the amazing spontaneous sunset, to every single guest being in a shot at one point or another. Before the wedding, Darrell took great measures to familiarize himself with our wedding party and location. By the time the wedding rolled around, a lot of our guests and wedding party knew him- they were like "Look, there's Darrell, lets go get a picture!" That amazed me, that he would become such a part of the wedding. The attire and demeanor of both Darrell and Norm is highly professional. I can't say enough good things. Feel free to PM me for further recommendation on this great wedding photographer!

Laura (who was the first to review) was the bride, and I have to agree whole heartedly with her when I say that he was fantastic to work with. He and his assistant, Norm, held nothing back when it came to capturing gorgeous, candid shots. As the sun set on the most beautiful day of the season, they were sure to grab the bride and groom for some beautiful moments despite all the "traditional" pictures having been captured already. There were completely professional, easy to coordinate with, and always on the spot for those "one thousand words" shots. Thanks Darrell!

As an LGBT couple, finding a wedding photographer can be an intimidating task. We came across…read moreMarnie, and she was easily one of the best parts of our wedding. She was supportive, encouraging, and loving. From our first meet up to the last picture of our wedding night, she was so much fun to be with. She is also in many ways, a superhero. While preparing for our wedding we had a brief moment of panic in which we could not figure out how to tie our bow ties, but Marnie was able to figure it out and saved the day. She helped us to stay calm when nerves were getting the better of us and got us to relax for the photos by making us do silly things. This led to the most STUNNING photos we could have ever hoped for from the engagement session and our wedding. Marnie captured magic moments by taking candid shots that made everyone look wonderful while showing the pure joy of the wedding day. She captured the ceremony from many different angles without being intrusive, surreptitiously followed us during the reception to not miss a moment, and was part of the party on the dance floor to photograph everyone celebrating. Marnie was more than just a photographer; she was a friend and calming voice throughout the planning and execution of our wedding. If we were to do the wedding over again, we would choose Marnie every time. We can not thank her, nor recommend her enough. The pictures of your wedding will last forever, whereas everything else will just be for the day. If you are struggling with who to choose as your photographer, pick Marnie. -Peter and Josh
