Did not get free sushi with alc. we ordered a whole bottle of sake, got nothing for free. Salmon sashimi was good. Udon noodle with soup was not the best I have had, it was a bit below average. Udon itself was not chewy, a bit dull. The soup was too sweet for my liking, wasn't that as fresh as it could be. The whole experience was average. The Resto is definitely not opened by Japanese. read more

Stopped by this Japanese eatery to fulfill our cravings for sushi. Not sure about the "free sushi with your beer" mentioned by a fellow yelper, but maybe they only offer this sometimes. My girlfriend and I ate light, only touching the vegan-friendly rolls. We washed down 8 avocado rolls and 16 mixed vege rolls with a bottle of white wine all for about 22€. Maybe a bit pricey for these relatively tiny sushi rolls. No WiFi here, but when we asked, our server insisted that although they don't have it now, they did at one point, so maybe ask again if you stop by, and share an update with our Yelp friends on here. Free sushi with beer. Can you ask for more?? Yamato serves a traditional menu of items and really shines with its selection of fresh sashimi and nigiri. Never had better salmon nigiri (and this is coming from a California girl where sushi is the unofficial state dish). The butter fish and assorted maki were delicious and affordable. 3 euros for a bottle of Alhambra Reserva 1925 and 2 pieces of nigiri or 4 pieces of maki. Not a bad deal. read more
