We ate lunch here on a recent trip to Turkey. They had, by far, the best lentil soup I have ever eaten. And you know, almost every restaurant in Turkey serves lentil soup. In 3 and 1/2 weeks I had it at least 10 times. This soup at Yalova was simply exquisite! read more

If you're visiting Çanakkale you must try this place. The seafood is fresh and delicious. The mezze selection is jaw dropping. The location is stunning along the water. It's a must try! read more

There were 4 of us that ate there very recently. We ordered a a sold appetizer, two fried squid (kalamar) appetizers and each of us ordered a main course of locally caught fish. The main course for all of us came well before the squid. They served the squid AFTER we all started eating our main course. Their excuse? The fryer was full. Poor service. When the squid came, it looked not so hot and tasted lifeless. The manager got involved and removed the two orders from the table after it was obvious we were quite disappointed. One of use was drinking raki by the glass and felt that it took too long to get refills. The place has a great reputation but we did not experience it last night. read more
