What a lovely treat to have discovered this charming B&B in such a quaint town.
I reviewed the websites of many bed and breakfast establishments prior to leaving the USA. and was drawn immediately to Yallambee. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner Bronwyn and served great coffee and delicious brownie sweets.
We stayed in the King room which had lovely furnishings, modern, just what we prefer. Plush towels and cozy robes, very clean and neat. After our dinner we came back and had a glass of port which is always available as well as a carafe of Sherry.
The bed and linens made for a very comfy sleep. We woke up to a beautiful breakfast. An assortment of cereal and fruit, fresh squeezed OJ, a choice of sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, smoked salmon etc. It was the perfect start of the day before a hike through the Morton National Park.
Thank you Bronwyn and David your warm and gracious hospitality, we will be back! read more
