This review is for Tsunami Hair / Makeup & Beauty bar in Llanrwst run by "Michelle"…read more I just had a phone call from the manager of the hairdresser that ruined my hair (Tsunami). I thought it was to apologise to me, but instead it was to attack me for "undermining the confidence of her employee" and being "a difficult client" to a "highly trained stylist". I now wish I had been difficult. Instead, rather annoyingly, I was calm and polite, although I did say I was unhappy given what she did to my hair while trying not to cry. The kicker? The manager admitted she hadn't even seen a photo of what had been done. I asked for ginger colour all over with some lighter and darker strands at the bottom, balayage style (I showed a photo). What I got was red and blonde stripes, from root to tip. After leaving me with Geri Halliwell stripes, said hairdresser reacted with annoyance at my distress, which I was trying to hide, and aggressively said she'd just put copper dye all over to fix it, saying that it would turn my hair ginger again. I said I was averse to this, because putting copper (which has red tones) onto what I now had, would turn it fire-truck red, but she insisted, rather forcefully, that I was wrong and she knew better. It went fire-truck red. Bright, insane, fire-truck red, now with ginger stripes. I wish I could show you photos of how awful it was. When I emailed other salons to ask if they could fix my hair, they all replied "YIKES!" when they saw what had been done. To show Tsunami that I bore them no ill-will, and to give them the benefit of the doubt, we still decided to keep my mother's appointment with them for the following week. The phone call was to yell at me and to cancel that appointment. For Tsunami to ruin my hair, treat me badly, try to charge me for it, and then phone me to blame me and cancel my mother's appointment was very rude. I was advised by friends and other salons to post reviews here on Yelp to warn others about this hairdresser.

So in short if you feeling like treating yourself have a go at Reiki, I Just can't explain properly how you feel that I hadn't even realised how stressed I was feeling until my shoulders just 'slumped' into relaxation mode So much so I took up an offer Rebecca had for another 2 sessions. Yvonne put me at ease immediately and she gave me great advice. You know you are in safe hands when the hairdresser's own hair is stunning :) . Yvonne gave me a fabulous hair cut and I made a forward booking for before Christmas. Her salon is tucked away in the middle of the village and benefits from easy parking as well as lovely views so the whole experience was very relaxing. Yvonne's charges are very reasonable and she caters for all kinds of styles and ages. She also does home visits for customers not able to get out and about.
