The inside of the store is always well-stocked, clean, and orderly. The people at the cash register are very pleasant. There are two entrances/exits for this location. One is on Charles Street, and one is on Mineral Spring Avenue. Entering/exiting the location is easy. Really excellent place.

Their convenience store has been revamped and it has a nice selection of packaged goods, prepared foods, lotto tickets, coffee, etc. They don't have a auto mechanic area anymore, so just gas and convenience store. The staff is always friendly & welcoming (a bit of a rarity in today's retail/service landscape) & the smells from the kitchen are divine as they have a number of food options if you need to grab something on the go! The only drawback (and out of their hands; but needs to be factored in) is the line of cars in the afternoon that blocks the right hand lane (and at times makes getting into & out of the lot safely a concern) to pick up children at The Paul Cuffee School 2 buildings down...like I said, that is out of their control.

Sometimes if I'm in the area, I'll make sure to stop by this BJ's gas station. The gas station is connected to the wholesale club which makes it convenient and is members only. Usually, there are no lines or only a few minute queue to get gas. With the BJ's One Mastercard (no annual credit card fee), I get 10¢ off/gallon at BJ's Gas which is great to have savings on top of savings.

Normally, I would rate this type of gas station/convenience store around two stars (or even one, if there are more serious issues), but I have no problem rating this place a solid three stars, and would even give it 3.5 stars, if Yelp allowed half stars in individual ratings. That's because their prices are super low. As of Oct. 20, 2017, their price for regular unleaded gas was $2.43 - that's a full 20 cents per gallon less expensive than the Shell station nearby! Also, they charge less than $2.80 for a gallon of 1 percent milk, which is the cheapest current price I've seen. And, a 16-ounce Red Bull was $3.79, versus an average of $4.19 elsewhere. Their location - adjacent to the traffic rotary across from Royal Mills - is actually quite convenient and easy to pull in and out of, with several curb cuts in their parking lot. Yet another reason I like them is that I ran out of gas nearby, about a year ago, and they helped me out a lot when I was in a jam, so I appreciate that.
