Disappointing Customer Service Experience…read more I had a very unpleasant experience at Verizon today. I went in with one simple goal--to pay off my new phone. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately approached and asked if I needed help. While I appreciate being greeted, the interaction felt more like dealing with an aggressive car salesperson than a customer service representative. The tone came across as persistent, demanding, and not very welcoming. After explaining that I was there to pay off my phone, we sat down and went through a few routine questions. However, the conversation changed when I was asked, in a demanding tone, "Why do you want to pay your phone off?" I found the question unnecessary and the way it was asked unprofessional. I almost responded with the same energy I was receiving, but instead I remained calm and kept the conversation respectful and businesslike. Customers should never feel pressured or interrogated over a personal financial decision. Paying off a phone is my choice, and it should be handled with professionalism and courtesy--not with an attitude that makes the customer feel uncomfortable.

The bill showed that we were signed up for 5 lines rather than 3 and then we "cancelled" the other two. We got burned for $35. T-MOBILE is a bunch of scammers. I had a samsung device and my son had an iphone. We both got new Pixel 8 phones with service for about what we were paying just for 2 lines with Verizon. The best part of the switch was the friendly, helpful, and highly competent and knowledgeable ladies who helped us. They know their plans and the hardware very well and copied data and took care of everything for us. Awesome, truly awesome! This was my best phone service experience ever.

horrible quality for services delivered near Salisbury University. Internet always broke several times a day for 3 years. Numerous calls never solved the issue. Tried several different types of modems (even bought one myself) but issue was never resolved customer service is a joke. Wastes customers time and never solves issues. The problem is that the date of termination is not considered the day the service was not available and equipment was returned, but in fact it is a random day they chose to disconnect a cable outside the house. Usually they eat another 2 weeks on the process. How cheap can one be? If you dont need internet I would recommend using satellite TV. Dish does a great job at reasonable prices. If you are not a heavy internet user, even wireless internet on T Mobile or others works much better with 3 GB limit. Threatens to send to collection within less than 30 days of the last bill while customer is waiting for the correct calculation of the charges for the period actually used. Stay away. read more
