I have experienced absolutely HORRENDOUS service and interactions with store leadership/management at Xfinity located at 277 SW Port Saint Lucie Blvd, Port Saint Lucie, FL. Specifically with the store manager, Jarrell Early and assistant manager, Mr. Fitzgerald (who was reluctant to give his name).
Everything about the brand interaction was AWFUL.
During the initial interaction, a representative met me on the sidewalk in the blustering Florida 102 degree summer heat, to transact business. When I informed her it was too hot, especially for someone my age, to stand in the heat, I was met with an explanation that they were trying to keep the cool air in the store.
Once I refused to stand outside and conduct business, I went inside the store to return/exchange an X1 box. Incorrect information and faulty equipment had been provided to me resulting in 3 trips for the same issue. One of the issues dealt with receiving a box that had stripped terminals. Since I had driven to and from the location 3 times, I asked the representative, Mr. Fitzgerald, if he could plug in the machine to ensure it worked. He rudely told me he would not because they didn't have cables in the store and he didn't want to open the package just to test it. I explained to him, I'd been there 3 times and didn't want to have to come again. My time was important, too. I asked to speak to the Manager, who I learned was Mr. Jarrell Early. He witnessed the entire interaction while lying on the floor adjusting wires under a table two feet away from me, yet said NOTHING. When I asked him if I could speak to the manager, he conveyed he was the manager. I asked him what did he think of the interaction. Initially, he acted as though he didn't know what happened. Eventually, he admitted he knew, but didn't see a problem with the way Mr. Fitzgerald intereacted. In fact, he laughed and assumed a callously comical posture. I communicated that I would inform corporate of his poor service. He didn't care. I expressed that the tone of the store is set by management, and it was no wonder the services provided by the store was sub par.
I am taking the time to write because I have choices where I spend my money. I've been a premier Xfinity customer for years. It's better to keep a long-term loyal customer than have to find new customers.
I'm DISGUSTED. So, since the manager proudly encouraged me to share my experience and posed for a picture and gave his name, I'm including that in the store review. read more
