I am very pleased with the customer service provided to me by Comcast Xfinity in Little Rock. People keep telling me to cut the cable and just stream my programs. I tried this with Verizon Home services for my home television and internet provider. It was a horrible and stressful experience. They promised many things, but did not come through on any. For me, it is worth the extra money to know that I will receive excellent and quick customer service in my home to keep things running well and smoothly. An expert Xfinity technician will come to my home and help me whenever I request one. This is very helpful to me. read more

I got Xfinity service when I moved to Little rock in 2020. service has never been great, last week a gentleman called me and told me that they wanted to upgrade my xfi box to new model. Hope that service would improve with new equipt. not really a change. new box same sketchy service. The gentleman that I was dealing with on the phone was awesome but he told me to take the old box to the nearest Xfinity store. This morning I drove to the Xfinity store off of University to return the box. I was met at the door, denied entry and rudely told i have to go to UPS. i was dismayed at the lack of customer service and the totally unprofessionalism from that man. I shook my head in wonder and thats when he said in a loud and mean voice, "Don't you shake your head at me" I just walked away, I heard him say "I met you at the door to stop you" This is probably the most egregious display of POOR to unbelievable bad customer service. So next it was across town to UPS, keeping in mind that he said no box or label necessary, i went in and was promptly told that i needed a box and label. So even after I left the Xfinity store i was still being affected by his bad customer service. For all my past experiences with XFINITY, I was pleasantly surprised at the service I received here. I was helping my dad upgrade his internet and that required a new modem. I didn't want to wait for shipping so I opted to go in the store to pick it up. I had to bring my dad with me since he was the primary owner of the account and needed to verify his identity. We came around lunch time on Sunday and even though there were quite a few groups, I thought we were serviced within 15 minutes. The entire process was quick and the employee was very friendly and polite. The only complaint I have is that you cannot call the store. Just try. It will send you into endless robotic loops. read more

An above ground cable has been left ABOVE GROUND strung over the width of my lawn for OVER 2 MONTHS now. This legal and medical liability Comcast/Xfinity is saddling me with is NOT worth any Wi-fI service. Commercial lawn mowers work this area , children play, elderly walk. Seriously??! This company should revamp their customer service policy. It's apparent this company is in a disarray based on their customer service recruiting. I realize times are not the best but they must scrape from the bottom of society when recruiting for customer service candidates. Case in point, I paid my bill online on the due date. They charged me $35.00 late fee. I finally get a hold of them after being on the phone for over an hour. Yep, that "call back" scheme doesn't work, stay on the phone. The rude customer service person in billing had the audacity to argue with me and told me my check bounced! I told her, first off I don't write checks, second if you would look at my statement, look at the last payment it will show when I paid and the amount. She must have felt like an a## because she said "oh yeah" I see that but I cannot make an adjustment. You will still have to pay the late fees and you will see the changes in the next statement plus the LATE FEES. Again, but I was not late! I need to talk to a manager now...then she goes on, sorry minus the late fees. I know this is not the end of this story. Several months ago Comcast/ Xfinity installed a new main line in my neighborhood. My yard and flowerbed were damaged. I have spent hours on the phone, have had three claim numbers and even had an employee take pictures of the damage, yet no one has come to repair the damages. Customer service is a nightmare! Getting a live person is an act of God. Even when you do they tell you they have requested the service you need and you NEVER see it or get a phone call. Customer service is absolutely horrendous. It is almost impossible to speak to an actual person on the phone. The automated call would simply say that theres an outage in my area (which I am very aware of) and hang up no matter what I did. My wifi has been going in and out for a week with no solution in sight. I drove to the xfinity store and the employee I talked to was rude and did not seem to care about anything I said. All they could do was give me the number that hangs up on me. The store is so unbelievably unhelpful that I had to ask an xfinity employee that has been working on the actual powerlines what was going on and he was a million times more helpful than any agent I have spoken to. I wish i could give lower than a 1 start review. The professionalism that they have is lower then none. I called about there internet for our church and the guy talked to me about it. My one question was. If someone puts fiber internet in our area can we cancel and we switch with no charge. His exact words were there is no cancelation fee you're good. I just called to cancel a few months later. They tried to tell me that the new internet is just piggy backing off of them. That the new internet is terrible and just was saying really rude things to me about wanting to switch. then told me i had to pay a 700$ cancellation fee........ I told him what the guy said and he said no there is no record of that but i have a signed document that says you agree to pay.... HE REFUSED TTO SEND ME THE SIGNED DOCUMENT.... then hung up. Little Rock, AR. This is the worst company in the history of worst companies. Their customer service reps will lie right to your face. I've been trying to get a cable box sent out for my elderly father who struggles with technology and can't navigate their smart app on his new TV. The first time I called I was told the box would arrive in 4 days. 5 days later I called back and was told that there was a technical error and that the box would be sent out via "overnight" parcel and would arrive "in 24 hours". Two days later I called back and was told that there was no record of my previous calls and that the box would once again be sent out via overnight/next day parcel . Still no box. I called and asked to speak to as supervisor and was told by employee # 4234506 that there wasn't a supervisor available and that the supervisor would just tell me the same thing she's telling me, which is apparently that they are complete incompetent morons that don't give crap about their customers. I then requested a callback from a supervisor and was told by employee# 4234506 that a supervisor would be contacting me. As you can imagine I never received a call. Shocker. If there was a way to give no stars, I would. Do not get yourself into a contract with this company. They will rip you off telling you you've gone over your data by 100x in the first 6 days of your billing cycle, then charge you $100. If you try to call and talk to someone, get yourself some calming meds first because no one will help you. They will escalate your issue, after accusing you of somehow supplying your neighborhood with data, and you will never hear back. It's absolutely ridiculous. You also will not get to talk to a human unless you invent a billing issue, and the billing person can transfer you to tech.... Good luck. Scheduled an appointment for installation. They didn't show between the allotted 2 hr window. They never called me to update me of their ETA or reason for being late. My Internet is blazing fast - speed tests give me 16MB+ at anytime of day/night. So I dont' mind paying $42.95 with no promotion in place. Never had a single outage in 6+ years. I can stream multiple video streams and download very quickly. HD - I think I have about 30 networks right now - I have all locals, all sports, all premiums in high def and a lot of ON DEMAND in HD which I can watch anytime I want. I have the HD DVR which I could not live without. I tape everything I can in HD. Lately taped all the primetime Olmpics coverage each night and then watched it when I came home. I've had my HD DVR for 4+ years with no problems at all. HD Tier is a $10 option from what I remember. All other channels are digital. read more

Would advise anyone with a ROKU to please read and be aware that Comcast does not support ROKU and will do little to nothing except dodge the truth when it comes to resolving your issue. Hello, I am an Xfinity customer and I have to express my dissatisfaction with everything connected with the service I receive. Both my phone and internet service constantly cut out. I just had a technician here, but he never came to my apartment. He sat outside of my apartment building for 20 minutes but never came to my door. He then claimed that he made several attempts to contact me by sending me messages and even that he knocked on the front door. I was sitting in the front room of my apartment and no one knocked on either the front or back door. My apartment isn't big enough to not hear a knock on either door. He closed out the job without actually doing the job. To add insult to injury, there's no phone number to actually call and talk to anyone. If it weren't for the fact that no other provider seems to offer service in my area, I would cancel my service with Xfinity in a heartbeat. This is absolutely ridiculous. Both the mobile phone service and the home internet service are totally unreliable as is the customer service and the technicians. I might be better off buying a hotspot and paying more money. read more

I hate the fact that I have to have Comcast service to begin with. I worked for them for 5 years before they let me go. I swore I would never get their service but I had to. So I got cable and internet. Anytime there is a problem to report you spend 30 minutes on hold before you talk to a representative. I called to cancel my premium channels and internet since I wasn't using it. I spent 30 minutes waiting to get my premium channels canceled and then I had to be transfered to cancel my internet. That took another 30 minutes and then they want to save you. Well I was already upset that I spent an hour on the phone to cancel my internet that I ended up just canceling everything. Now I am back in school and had to get internet again. My WiFi has been running slow causing me to buffer. I spent 2 hours on the phone before someone realized there was an issue and a technician was needed. I had to pull teeth to get compensation. The representative advised I had to call back after the issue was resolved. I advised I had been on the phone 2 hours and giving up 3 hours on Saturday. I was not about to waste more time to get compensation that was obviously due. Finally he gave some compensation. Today Saturday. The technician shows up an hour early as I am on my way to the bank. The technician addressed me as sweetie and looked hung over. I told him I was on my way out. Hr said it would take five minutes. I said I had 10 to get to the bank. Come 4 the technician never showed up. Closed out the order that I didn't answer the phone. I have now been on hold for 1 hour waiting on my transfer. This is unacceptable. I can't believe they are still in service. After this class I am canceling service and I will do homework at my neighbors. I won't continue giving them my money. read more

Boy I thought Comcast was bad in Tucson Az., Then I moved to Little Rock AR. 14 days ago & still No Cable or Internet! Customer service lady argued up n down that yes there is sevice at our address, even though I explained for 15 mins that the cable on the pole had been cut or hit by a mower. So there for picking up a self install kit will do me no good. She glady wanted to schedule a tech to come install for me at the low cost of $300.....WHAT?? For thier chingered up line. So I had enough of that conversation and agreed to go pick up my "self install kit", knowing I would need to call again to schedule a tech. Next day I call Customer Service to report, once again, the damage to thier cable coming off the pole. Very nicely she scheduled a tech for 3 days out, at the low price of $39.95....wow I've now saved $260!! Great....until the tech doesn't show up or call. The cycle begins, 2 other dates n times were convientely ignored with no call no shows. As if my personal time is worthless to them. I now sit here on the 4th date of a promised tech with 10 minutes left in the time frame they have given me n guess what still no call no show....maybe I'm just impatient. How in hell did the company ever come to corner the Internet &Cable industry?? As of today, if no tech shows I will find another source of Internet & be purchasing a Roku. After deciding to give Comcast a second chance, believing that they now had better customer service, I now know I was WRONG. First, even ordering service was a headache. I placed my order online, which went ok. Then I received a 'Welcome to Comcast' email. Less than an hour later I received another email, stating that I needed to call to set up installation and my order was not fully processed. I called and they could not set up an appointment at that time and someone would call me back within 8 hours. No call, so I called them. After 45 minutes or so, I finally got an installation date (4 days after the one I had originally chosen online) and was able to access my account online. Second, I was told my package came with DVR but did not received the DVR box. Instead I received two HD boxes. I don't have HD tvs. After spending over two hours chatting with a representative to get a DVR box, I still don't have it because the order did not go through properly and is sitting in there system in limbo (again). Third, I received by first bill and there are two additional installation charges I was never told about or authorized. I was told there was one install fee for the technician to come and install which would be for $39.95. I am also being charged for another install fee of $15 for an additional outlet. The reps are uninformed about Comcast's products and services or they just outright lie. Either way, Comcast has not changed and is still terrible. read more

The customer service on Shackleford is really very good. My review is not for local. It is for the unbelievably poor customer service I received in the last month. When DATACAPS were put on Little Rock I called in to see what we could do as we use more that 350gb they were "allowing" (funny we were just put on the cap without a choice). So when I called I reached the first of 6 people and on hold for 25 minutes to get to the Internet data department. Really?? No one in customer service could answer those questions. So they proceed to tell me I have to pay $10 extra for each 50gb. They were not offering unlimited like we have had for 15 years without being charged. So I asked to speak with someone else. They hung up (or politely disconnected). So I called back and it took only 15 minutes this time to reach the correct department. UGH! Anyway, they said I can get unlimited for $35 more a month. Seriously. But I had no alternative as I was being charged $50 for extra gb. So I did that. Well low and behold not even 2 weeks later.... They come out with a terabyte included with no extra charge!!! Now even my household does not use that. So naturally I call them and tell them I don't need to pay $35 extra each month as I would like to have the terabyte that they are offering for "free".... I was told that I could not do this because it is not available yet.... I truly wish that XFINITY/COMCAST had real competition. They would definitely give better service!! read more

I have a phone line that is out of service. Comcast's process is to call the number on the account to make sure someone is home to meet the techician for the service call. Because I CANNOT ANSWER A PHONE LINE THAT DOESN'T WORK, i.e., because there is no answer on the phone number on the account (which, by the way, IS THE BROKEN PHONE LINE), Comast will not make the service call, despite admitting that their records contain a cell phone number as an alternate contact number. I normally don't like to rant about things but this situation has gotten out of control. It started several months ago with issues with our internet provider (Comcast). All our programs to run our business involve use of the Internet. We continuously had issues with loss off internet service, making it impossible to do business. So after several service calls and Comcast even coming out to our building and running new cables with no change in loss of Internet service. We had to switch our internet service to AT&T. And since then we have had no issues with our internet service. BUT now we are fighting with Comcast (Or the Collection Agency) with them telling us we owe them $3,800 for breaking our contract. So my question is....if Comcast can't provide the service we need to conduct business to pay our bills, why are they trying to force us to continue to use their services or make us pay $3,800 to break our contract?!?? If they aren't able to correct the problem am I still responsible to pay for a service that doesn't work? According to "Dan" with the Collection Agency that Comcast turned us over to that would be a "YES"! And by the way "Dan's" voice changes from day to day. So which Dan am I speaking with?!! And the CRAZY thing about this is our Sales Rep with Comcast keeps telling us we don't owe Comcast anything?!??? But "Dan" with Sage Recovery Services tells me that isn't so!!!! That his contact with Comcast said it doesn't matter what our rep with their company tells us, we still will have to pay this amount for breaking our contract. So with all that said I would never recommend Comcast to anyone. Comcast may care less of what my thoughts are about their company but this is no way to conduct your business. If I broke my contract just because I decided I didn't like Comcast anymore that would be one thing. But that wasn't the reason. Worst customer service ever! Complete rip off. I haven't had DVR service that I'm paying for 7days and won't for several more. Spent hours on the phone trying to get my service fixed and when I finally got tech support appointment- they lost my appointment. I called with 30 mins left of my appointment window, but they still won't honor the appointment and won't compensate me for the wasted time or loss of all of my recordings. Don't be fooled by the 12 month promotion either. I was told I had a discount for 12 months, but it increased after 6. Come to find out they only honor the price for 6 months at 6 mo and again at 12 months. read more

First off please read my review about AT&T and you will see why I gave Comcast 5 stars. I have had them for several years without any issues other than the price. They have done nothing but improve and add great services unfortunately that comes at a cost$$$$. But once we decided to give AT&T another shot they (AT&T) failed miserably. I will continue to give Comcast my hard earned money at double the price just because they deliver. Just remember you get what you pay for. The only issue we ever had with Comcast was our home security system that kept tripping due to our dog. They were supposed to install pet friendly motion detectors but could not get them to function properly. Our internet has always worked other than a few Wi-Fi issues with there modems. Our cable always worked and we always had the internet speeds they promised. AT&T could not even run a simple wire to a phone jack properly and never showed when promised. When the AT&T guy finally showed after re-scheduling several times, I politely handed him their equipment and asked him to leave my property and never come back. I will not pay the bill that I have for the 2 weeks we suffered through their inferior technology. If they try to collect I will turn it over to the attorney general and let them deal with them. You should not have to pay for something you never received as promised. I wish the rest of you with Comcast the best, I really got discouraged reading your reviews of them (Comcast) but you will be worse off with AT&T. I wish I had an option to go with another provider but AT&T and Comcast are my only options for my area. read more
