I couldn't speak highly enough of my recent experience with ABC in Walsall. Whilst I have been away…read morein hospital and in recovery I wanted a full deep clean of most of my home (which also had some extra requirements and 3rd party specialist involvement so it was a fair size project, which also needed to be done at pretty short notice) - they took the project on, professionally assessed what needed to be done, identified my needs well, and despite being busy with other jobs too, fitted my project in according to a timescale and cost agreed before they commenced work. They are a brilliant, flexible, friendly team who went "above and beyond" to help me out and fulfill my requirements, keeping in contact throughout the course of the job and making sure I was happy with progress along the way. I would absolutely recommend them to anybody, without question. 10/10 to Jim and the team from me :-)

It took over 2 months until our Landlord returned our deposit because of the uncleaned flat(which he took pictures of to prove). We ended up having to pay our friend to go and clean our flat 'again'. We spent weeks trying to get ahold of them, asking them to go back and properly clean it or return our money. When I finally was able to speak to the manager, he talked over me, actually yelled at me and the hung up on me. None of their contact numbers worked and when we sent them letters, they always got returned to us. Parts of their website are unfinished and unprofessional. Please don't trust this company! I popped in here primarily to ask about whether they had any in stock - which they didn't. Obviously this was disappointing, but it gave me a chance to look round. They're doing a good job here - washing, ironing, repairs, alterations - even free advice, it seems. As I went in, the lady at the counter was giving a lot of helpful advice to a gentleman who was very concerned about a silk shirt of his. It seems that he hadn't even used their services, but was just after some advice, which was happily given. They also imparted lots of advice to me as to where to pick up shoe dye, and, along the theme of general helpful information, have sort of local noticeboard in their shop, which I thought was a nice, civic-minded touch. If I have any further clothing-related needs, I shall visit Ulverlie Washe again. They know their stuff.

It was a spur of the moment kind of visit in which we rapidly spotted it and immediately pulled up outside all raring to get these curtains washed. Inside were obviously lots of machines as you would expect and the lady that worked there asked us if we needed anything else doing to the curtains, ie. If they needed ironing afterwards or adjusting. We respectfully declined as we could iron them ourselves, but thanked her anyway. It was really lovely of her to ask and to be honest we did not expect her to be so helpful and accommodating as we were only washing some curtains. Anyway, the machines were great and did the job, we did not want to tumble dry them and so left afterwards. It is a handy place to know about!
