Although touted as a daycare & preschool, be aware! Your children will be taken care of a lot of…read moretheir time here by glorified babysitters with only a high school diploma, not even child education credits, who clearly have no control of the children who try to escape as soon as you open the door. The owner is no better than the rude employee I dealt with on my child's 3rd day at school. When I dared question the rudeness of the employee, the owner Misty McQuade told us to get off her property or she would call 911 and have me arrested. I didn't realize questioning the care of your child care provider when they make your child cry hysterically was a crime or emergency. We were not allowed a refund for a month of prepaid care for daring to ask this question or allowed to collect our belongings. If I hadn't been in such a bind when we moved to town & our house wasn't completed & my toddler was stuck in a hotel room for weeks, I would have run upon seeing the poorly kept up & unclean trailers where the kids were "taught" & every time you opened the door kids tried to run out! It was clear that the employee in question did not have control of the children at all. HORRIBLE PLACE ALL AROUND!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. It is very clear why they had openings when most places had waiting lists & are now hiring new uneducated employees. If I hadn't been referred by someone who said it used to be good I never would have allowed my child to be in this environment had I been warned of these things in advance. BEWARE!!!

"bare with me , because lunch and nap time are the worst part of my day" imaging my jaw dropping, i apologized for aggrivating her and she quickly dismissed the converstion. upon lunch starting i was shocked at the site of the food even though i knew what was on the menu for the day. my husband then entered again on his lunch break to observe as well.she became obviously annoid....pinto beans and sausage , three crackers and peaches . sounded ok but looked very horrible. two tablespoons of beans she had me pass out 3 crackers each and prepare cups to be served water... food was cold and i knew my child would not eat it sothe caregiver noiced my distressed face and gave her what i packed for her lunch just in case. after i left with extreme hesitation back to work i couldnt wait to pick her up. i watched the camera more than i worked and observed more texting or phone use during there nap time. i was sure that more of this would come so i immediatly picked her up after work and went home to make it up to my child . the next morning before work i went to the office to complain and the owner had not come in yet they said shed call me and i left..... she called later that morning and i told her eveything . all she kept saying was really ,,, uh huh... over and over finally i said does any of this disturb you or do you consider this exceptable.... she said only the cell use... its against the law but she defended the worker saying mabey she was checking the time.. i said No if you watch your own camera you will see it was longer than checking the time... and finallly she said "so...... your taking her out your leaving us..". i said yes and then asked about the money for supplies i paid for but never used and tuition i didnt use a week of.. she said consider us even due to you leaving without notice. i hung up in shock but called again first thing monday morning to speak to her again, left a message and never got a call back. SHE NEVER ONCE APOLOGIZED FOR SUCH A HORRID EXPERIENCE, UNECCEPTABLE... TO ME my child deserves someone who wants to take care of her and doesnt think they have to. money is clearly their motivation for this facility and i will tell my story to all.. extremly disgusted ... me a mom.

Their is always staff there in the morning to help the children find what they need. I've only came to the cafeteria once while the children were having lunch the cafeteria ladies walking around seem not to have much patience when it comes to the kids that would be my only concern. I love knowing when they have events for the kids and they do a good job sending kids home with flyer's( my son comes home excited to get involved with school events). We were very lucky when it came to his kindergarten teacher shes great.

When someone thinks of what the mission for an educational establishment should be: this school embodies it fully. Everyone, from the janitor to the principal has got one primary goal: making young minds thrive and enthusiastic about knowledge and learning. Mr Newton (the wonderful principal of this great school) truly loves each and every single one of the students that cross the school's halls every day. He has ZERO tollerance for bullying and just as strongly believes that good behavior should be noted and encouraged. As far as teachers go... my daughter has been nurtured, and made to bloom by the most amazing and caring teacher i have ever know: Mrs. Abila. She has managed to turn a shy and afraid little girl who NEVER raised her hand or asked questions, into a strong and confident little woman. To these people i say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!

If you want your child to be safe and in the best of hands this is not the place to keep your…read morechildren. It seems like a wonderful at first. The owners have very charismatic personalities, which is misleading. They do not care about your child. I thank the lord that I worked there and saw what was going on. Do not be deceived! This place is terrible. They do not have a zero tolerance policy towards violence. If I teacher lays her had on a child they will not do anything about it. As in, "sometimes teachers just have a bad day". When I saw this I reported it to my boss, cps, and even went to the police station to file a report. No one cared. The teacher is also still employed there. Do not trust your child with Miss Elia. She does not possess the patience to speak to your child with respect. She does not have the character or capability to practice restraint when she becomes angry. She pinched children, mocked them, yelled constantly, threw things at them, pushed them into walls, yanked them by the arm and pulled them to the ground. If your child goes home with a bruise, it was her, I put my money on it!!! She plays favorites and the ones that she doesn't care about are left to do whatever they want. She will punish them the children that she hates and she will for the most part ignore them. One child in particular was left out of the games to play by himself in the corner. My heart broke for this little boy. He was the smartest one in the class. I encouraged him to do his work and he did it very quickly... I never once had to raise my voice to get those results. Every detail of what she did was reported. No one cared. They can't afford to fire her because they are so short staffed. But there's a reason they can't keep people as teachers and caregivers. People of quality can't tolerate the neglect and abuse, and those who do stay take advantage of their power. Most spend their days complaining about having to watch the children. And as a mother of one of the students this concerned me. If something happened and my child was put in danger I didn't trust the employees to see that he was safe. I wouldn't trust them to be honest about it either. The building is in shambles. I don't know how it passed inspection. I almost suspect some under the table pay offs. My last day working there, there was a thunderstorm watch and not once did anyone come to tell me the storm plan. The alarm went off and still no one came to give me instruction. (If the storm had been more serious like a tornado... forget it. We'd have all died.) Half of the building flooded and ceiling tiles were falling on children. So all the children were put into one room with a couple teachers. The rest of the teachers were cleaning up the water. When I went to check on my son I saw that the room had far too many children in it. I could barely walk through and I was scared of stepping on someone. I took my son into the room I was working in so that at least I could know that under my watch he would be safe. No one noticed that he was gone for several hours. And when they did notice they wouldn't allow him in the room with me. Their reasoning was that I needed to stick to state regulations; regulations that they ignored in the instance of child abuse. The hypocrisy infuriated me. I quit and pulled my son out of the program. We will not be back. The directors are very smart people. They know exactly how to evade responsibility, and mark my words they will. They care more about their income than their mission. I only worked there so that I could see my son throughout the day because I missed him. And I'm so glad that I got to see what was really going on!!! I care about my son more than I have words to say. And while I don't expect them to have the same love for him that I do, I do expect so much more out of his childcare. I understand that this facility is cheaper than most because it is nonprofit, in this case you get what you pay for, sometimes much less than that.

The staff is always available for any doubt/concern a parent may have. Particularly efficient are the counselors, always attentice and perceptive to the needs of the students. I would like to personally give some HUGE kudos to the ESL program and teacher, Ms. Marshall, essential to an ever growing international community, it provides the safest and most thriving environment for those students whose only need is to be nurtured and made to bloom. Also worth a merit mention is Ms. Josselet's English class, being able to work on PCs, comfortably read books on poofs, interact both with the teacher and other students in a relaxed environment makes progressing in one's class a truly intuitive and positive experience. The structure is very efficient, the diversified timetable provides a safe environment for younger students, preventing (for the most part) bullying from older stundents. The bully report form is also a great deterrent. I find having to fast-paced walk (no running allowed) from one end to the other of the school risking a tardy a bit too strict but i guess with so many students, discipline is the key. I really approve of the tutoring, offered either before or after normal school hours, free of charge to allow students to have passong grades All in all, this school deserves a solid 4-stars.
