Their is always staff there in the morning to help the children find what they need. I've only came to the cafeteria once while the children were having lunch the cafeteria ladies walking around seem not to have much patience when it comes to the kids that would be my only concern. I love knowing when they have events for the kids and they do a good job sending kids home with flyer's( my son comes home excited to get involved with school events). We were very lucky when it came to his kindergarten teacher shes great.

When someone thinks of what the mission for an educational establishment should be: this school embodies it fully. Everyone, from the janitor to the principal has got one primary goal: making young minds thrive and enthusiastic about knowledge and learning. Mr Newton (the wonderful principal of this great school) truly loves each and every single one of the students that cross the school's halls every day. He has ZERO tollerance for bullying and just as strongly believes that good behavior should be noted and encouraged. As far as teachers go... my daughter has been nurtured, and made to bloom by the most amazing and caring teacher i have ever know: Mrs. Abila. She has managed to turn a shy and afraid little girl who NEVER raised her hand or asked questions, into a strong and confident little woman. To these people i say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!

Amazing campus. My…read moredaughter decided on ACU to pursue her studies in Kinesiology and perhaps later work in sports medicine. So, the family piled into the car and drove up from Houston to visit Abilene and the university. All I can offer is what I saw from the tour and that's "wow!" This is a faith oriented campus for sure, we knew that and it was alone a good cause to make this the place to send our most treasured. Yet, it is underscored with a modern campus with technically advanced facilities. Everywhere you go on campus you will find high art in technology, religion and social interaction. I know I should go on, but my words will not do this campus the justice it needs. We visited UT, TT; but my daughter was firm in wanting to go to ACU. He was able to accommodate four students on rather short notice. He answered our call quickly and was very helpful before the class even started. His class was held at The Holiday Inn Express in Georgetown which offered a nice comfortable seating area for all of the students. Lance was very well versed in the law and gun safety as a whole. His class was not only educational but engaging as well. The qualification was held on a private outdoor range. The thing that I really liked about that was it wasn't crowded and offered us the ability to really concentrate on qualifying. Lance was well prepared. His educational aids (PowerPoint, posters, books, handouts, etc) were well done. He also supplied the class with coffee, soft drinks, and water throughout the morning which was definitely not a requirement but was much appreciated. If you are looking to get your CHL, or maybe just take a training class, you should consider Lone Star Gun Training. You'll be pleased with all that Lance has to offer.
