Nice place to stay. It has a variety of space types for your needs, cabins, pull through, shaded, tents and so on. 30 and 50 amp sites.Large bathrooms. Great rates. Not too far from necessities or sight seeing things. Things that could be done and would make this a great place are, 1. Larger laundry room 2. Grounds upkeep, mowing, mowing, and mowing ,weeding especially in the area you park in. can't tell where some spots are because of weed growth and picking up of branches that have fallen out of the trees. Can't tell where the horse shoe pits are clearly because of weed growth. 3. Water is brown when you turn it on at the hydrant. Not sure what can be done. If we are in the area again we will stay here. read more

We stayed in site 37. It was pretty level and had nice shade trees on both sides. Don and his family who run the park are very nice and accommodating. We had good clean 50 amp power and full hook ups. Every site had a nice picnic table & fire ring. There was bagged ice and firewood available for purchase. We did not use the showers or bathrooms. Site was nice and long and gravel. Had plenty of room for our 45' motorhome and towed pickup without unhooking. We did unhook to go sight seeing. It's a good central location for the Tristate Museum in town, Devil's Tower, Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, Sundance, WY, etc. I highly recommend this campground for the amenities & great price. read more

Fantastic rv park - run by the nicest family. Great place to stay -will definitely be back!!!

Pros: fairly good wifi, easy to get in and out, seem to have spaces, good access to Spearfish, Deadwood, and Devil's Tower. 30 amp spots seem to be the best and most open spots Cons: most sites are buddy sites, sites for 50amp hook ups are very close and our driver's side slides are almost touching our neighbors, more dogs off their leash than on their leash, owner says rules are "enforced" but he went to neighbors spot and blasted music after the 9pm quiet time. read more

We stayed here after a RV rally in Rapid City. The rally happened to coincide with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. This camp sight is located just passed Sturgis. Very nice accommodations and will definitely stay here again. read more

Comfortable,clean cabin w/porch and chairs, small refrigerator, a/c,fire pit and gas grill. wash house is clean , will lit and hot water. Kent and family are friendly and attentive. had a great stay. We had a nail in are tire and Kent let us use his tools to fix are rental car. Just FYI, Cabin does not have heat. read more

Well kept. Restrooms are big and clean. Our site was narrow but long. Plenty of room for rv and car. Picnic table and fire pit. A quiet park in terms of activity. Looks like quite a few semi permanent 5th wheels but all well kept. Train tracks near by but not to bad. Hwy 34 can be loud but again, not bad. They preferr cash as payment. read more

I am currently staying at Wyatts right now. I gotta say this place is great. Quite at night. Mr. Wyatt is a very nice man. Always available if you need something. The staff here are very nice and friendly. It has more than enough bathrooms and showers. I recommend this campground to anyone who plans on seeing the local sights. This is the place. almost everything is within an hour or so to get there. Call them for reservations. read more

More expensive than any RV park we have been in ND, MT, WY, SD or NE! Wow! Can't afford it.

I have stayed at Wyatt's since it opened in 2002 and have found it to be the best campground in the Black Hills area. I have stayed in other campgrounds, Spearfish and Sturgis, and they pale in relation to what is available at Wyatt's. The campground is neat, clean, no trash laying around, no blowing trash. The campsites are generous, come equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, are level, shaded and well maintained. I tent camp when I am at Wyatt's and make extensive use of the shower facilities which are always neat and clean. The showers are not only hot but they are FREE, this is not the case at some of the camp grounds that I have stayed at. This is the best of the best!! read more

We pulled in mid day on Sunday. The office sign is attached to a private residence with a locked gate. We walked around looking for someone to help us. We checked an empty RV spot and decided we would park in that one until we could find someone. We saw a man sitting at a table across the street and asked him if that would be alright. He said he could help us and started walking towards the office area. We got to a storage shed and he went in and shut the door in our faces. My husband opened the door and the man came out scowling at us. He informed us, very loudly, he had had a very busy week and when my husband said we could just park and take care of it later he didn't respond. I explained we didn't know where to go because the office is a private residence. He yelled at me that it is HIS residence. My husband said we were leaving and he started yelling at us to get off his property and he was calling the cops. My husband suggested that would be a good idea. We left and would never recommend this place to anyone. read more
