They claimed they checked and stated the remote starter was not the problem. After months of dealing with constant dead battery issues we took the cat to our local Nissan dealer who removed the remote start system. It's been several weeks now with the battery holding charge and no starting issues. Custom Whips might want to stick to just window tinting. The review shows San Francisco which is incorrect. Promptly, I got a return email letting me know they could install them expecting three-four hours of install time. I dropped my Jeep off at 1 pm on a Saturday and got a call a few hours later from Andy who wanted me to look at the first fender because he wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the look. I shot over and gave him green light to proceed. Another six hours later, after 9 pm on a Saturday, Andy called to say it was ready for pick up. When I got there, Andy pointed out where he was not satisfied with how the extender conformed to the factory fender. How rare is that a business points out the negative? Frankly, I think the install looks fine. He also took the time to paint the screws to blend in with the Jeep's color. Despite it taking significantly longer than he expected, he honored the install price quote and then followed up with an email to say that if I feel they need any future adjustment, he would do so at no charge. I moved here a year ago from a big city in Texas. Andy represents what I love about Iowa. Hawkeye Auto is a reputable, fair, and honest repair shop.
