They originally were trying to sell it for 300 and then they dropped the price! She felt like I paid too much for the house. There was a lot of things, but that was kind of the rundown. Four bedroom 2 1/2 bath I felt like 289 was sufficient! $52,000 in updates! New roof 2025 new AC October 24 remodeled bathroom upstairs with new flooring . Lifetime foundation warranty, new route shield etc.I'm not selling it for 240 which she suggested because of the dumpy houses in my area! I saw a couple of them, good grief. I'd like to provide a couple examples. Diligent and professional. When I bought my first Texas home in 2017, we got hurricane Harvey. The situation was extremely complex to close the deal. This time around, we got the tropical storm Imelda that resulted flooding every where in Galveston. Before the closing date, Maria drive back and forth to my subject property a couple times to make sure there was no flooding in the subject property. She also filmed the property from outside to inside to assure me that the property is still intact. Despite the deteriorating weather, Maria relentlessly worked with title company and lender to make sure the house was closing on time. When the storm hit Galveston harder, my flight was canceled. I could not fly to Texas to attend the closing event. Maria worked closely with the title company to find alternative solution. I finally could close the house with a mobile notary in California An expert in negotiation. The subject house had multiple offers. Maria analyzed and advised me with the best offer that could beat the other offers. We won. She also put certain clauses and conditions into the contract to make sure I didn't loose money if the deal didn't work out. Lightning speed. It took Maria only 4 calendar days to secure the sale contract with the seller. She took another 3 days to get the house inspection completed. After the house closing event, Maria took only 10 days to find a very good tenant among applications for my property and completed their moving in with 2 days. My new tenant is so happy to sign a two years contract instead of 1 year. They will be moving in on 10/5/2019. She represents for my best interest. Maria treats me like a family member. After the house inspection came out, she made sure the seller fix most of the deficiencies. As the seller refused to fix a minor defective area on the roof, Maria negotiated with the seller agent to get a roof fixation cost coming from part of the buyer and seller agents' commission. Maria takes care of my property like hers. When the tenant want to move in quickly within 3 days, Maria worked around the clock to make sure the property occupied quickly. She voluntarily painted the garage walls free of charge, helped me find used refrigerator for my house with very low price, supervised the cleanup and installation of refrigerator, had people mow the grass and trim the trees.

Turned out to be a huge mess with delays of a month. Buyer backed out so we had another open house and got a buyer within 4 days again, nice house. So this just happened.......I applied to rent a condo on Bay Area Blvd in the Taylor Crest condo…read moredevelopment. The rent was $825 for a 2x1-1/2. The condo has been on the market for 2 months now which is 12 months in dog years. I filled out the application paid for the credit a criminal check. I make about 5 times the amount of rent and currently pay $1500 a month rent for a house. Since the kids are all in college I decided to downsize. So everything was going ok......the agent Joe Sr. was dragging his feet a little bit but I gave everything they needed to approve me. Check stubs from both of my jobs, rental history was A+ for 6 years for perfect renting. Then Joe Sr. tells me THEY want to see 2 months of bank statements.....Who are THEY. Joe Sr. is THEY. So I played along and dropped off the bank statements which showed all of my work direct deposit from both jobs.....my $1500 a month in child support received (which I didn't even include in my income because my income speaks for it's self) and it also showed a balance of almost 10 times the amount of rent in the account. THEY reviewed my bank account and Joe Sr. said he really pushed for me but THEY rejected the application. WTF....So I did some checking myself. THEY never called any of my landlords.....THEY never contacted my employers......THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!!!! So I had already applied at the Voyager @ The Space Center and was already approved but I was holding out for the cheaper option. So RIDDLE ME THIS????? How am I approved at a NEW up scale complex paying double what they were asking for the condo built in the 70's? It's because SIMIENS PROPERTIES and their AGENTS discriminates. If you are not white don't bother applying to a property owned or managed by this group.
