A few days later They sent out a man to see if the trees could be taken down without the electric company trimming the trees off the lines. He said he could do it "No problem." The start date came and went, no show. Next day no show. Called the company and was told they needed to limbs to be trimmed. I told the lady what was said and was told she didn't know why they would say that. Me either I thought. I then began the fight with the electric company. Once the electric company came, They cut the trees down to the trunks. We could handle that alone but there was one tree we couldn't do. Too tall. Asked for a new estimate just for the one tree and the excuses began. They wanted the job when it was a $4000 job. Not interested in a cheaper one. Kept waiting and waiting for someone to come out. Then was told it would be a month wait after the estimate. Funny how they were ready to jump on the job when they were getting a larger amount of money. Oh and if you are not ready to be preached at, don't call. The first guy tried to convert me at the end of the estimate.

In addition, to renew the flower bed by removing existing gardening stones and soil, replace with rich new new gardening soil, install new plants & an ornamental tree, and place fresh mulch in the flower bed. As for the people that I dealt with, ALL were very nice to the individual. From the sales/scheduler/biller/facilitator, to the designer, and each member of the work crew. And the plants themselves were top notch (and all at full retail pricing). As for the rest (i.e.: the job itself, the quality of materials, quality the work, the attention to detail, communication with the customer and between management and the crew, professionalism, work ethic, follow-up, overall satisfaction with the experience, etc.), I'll refrain from posting the 500 word review that I wrote, and let the rating speak for itself. Simply put, the experience was not what I had expected from a company with a 30 year history in the community. None of this should come as a surprise, as there were issues at every stage. Again...Nice people (the reason for a 3 star, versus a 2 star review). Maybe I just caught them on the wrong year/decade.

We scheduled our appointment via their website and had a quick home consultation where we told him what we would ideally like done. I did a bit of quick math on the mulch and sent me a text shortly after with the rate for the labor and the materials. I found it to be incredibly reasonable so we decided to move forward with the job. They are booked pretty heavily so it took a couple of weeks for our appointment but they showed up and worked efficiently to finish the job neatly and thoroughly. Our garden looks amazing and they did a great job pulling all those pesky weeds in our rock beds that had been causing me grief (and back pain!) over the spring and summer. I'm so happy with how it all looks. I can't stop marveling at our very cute yard now! And my plants seem way happier now that we've got the mulch around them as well. Will definitely keep them in mind for any future jobs we may need.

They never called to update us about anything and our quote was way less than what the price really would have been. We even recommended them to friends because it seemed as though they had great prices but we found out their lack of communication didn't just affect us. The company never got back to them either. They left us scrambling to find a new company at the last minute and ultimately we had to install the sod ourselves. I am beyond unhappy with this company and won't recommend them to anyone ever.
