From day one we knew we made a mistake..poor workmanship (OMG I could write a book about that), bad communication, unsupervised inexperienced help, worked only 2-3 days a week for a few hours then left for a week..Been 4 months - YEP 4 MONTHS!! and we are still not finished. He said he didnt have the time or resources to complete the deck, and would THINK WHAT HE COULD DO. Railing is a disaster and needs replaced, numerous issues with the composite deck. He even said he would not accept or pay for the deck as it currently is now. We will need to buy new material for the deck and railings both and hire someone who knows what they are doing to make this project right so we can use it and its not an embarrassment. I have 25-30 pictures of the issues, and a video - he still says he "did what the written agreement says". I even asked Thumbtack to help and they are blind and clueless -saying.."Based on the information reviewed, we found no deviation from the agreed-upon scope of work, nor was there any indication of property damage outside of that scope." Dont think you will get any customer assistance from them! Guess its buyer beware - losing any hope for honest contractors who actually DO WHAT THEY SAY. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY...he tells you what you want to hear and never makes it happen.
