There is a large range of vases, especially the tall thin variety, and there are artificial flowers too. Plenty of toys and gifts of various kinds, gardening tools, some stationery and homeware items. They seem to specialise in large pictures and posters for the home, especially of the 'movie-star' type. The two men I've talked to in there have always been helpful.

To be honest, it's been one of two places where I've been buying paint and brushes but there is much more choice here. The prices are pretty good too and sometimes there are sales on certain items, especially lamps and small things like that for the home. It's great, of course, for tools of most kinds for all your DIY jobs and there are whole bathroom suites available and all the accessories too. I like the attached garden centre as well which I like to browse on dry days! I bought some smoke alarms here today and will be back again soon to buy some door handles. The staff are always helpful and will take you directly to the aisle and product that you're searching for.

The staff are always pleasant and courteous.When called upon I have to say that they are knowledgeable when it comes to product types and differences within type. Great garden centre - with an absolutely beaufiful Christmas display…read more Although a bit out of the way - (only really accessible by car), this garden centre has a great variety of seeds, equipment, garden furniture, water features, seed potatoes, etc, etc. There is also a cafe at the back of the shop - which serves great homemade soup - and their homebaking is absolutely delicious. This is one of the few places in Kilmarnock to sell homebaking in packets - situated right at the front door to tempt you in the way in. Extremely friendly staff, personal service - and great at Christmas when they black out a section of the shop for their decorations and lights.
