My doctor gave a prescription for a newer model (ResMed S-10) CPAP machine. Apparently they have…read morean inventory of older model units and wouldn't order a current model for me. A local supplier carries and supports the new version. I was informed I was eligible for replacement under my insurance provision (after 5 years). I completed transfer of records form and sent to the local supplier. When they checked with the insurance company, it was discovered I was not within the prescribed time frame for a new machine. After much time and confusion, it was discovered a billing error/or some other administrative action between the insurance company and alpena oxygen caused this issue. I have not been informed this has been corrected. The newer version has wireless capabilities, updated many features, larger water tank and more user friendly. For those acquiring a new CPAP from alpena oxygen, beware the ResMed s-9 is an older version that you will be using for years to come. There was some-other issues concerning the CPAP, much too confusing to get into. I will say, Alpena Oxygen does provide very good replacement parts and equipment support. Counter personnel are quick to assist and helpful.

Even as a walk-in with a written script, they are by the fastest. Your script will be ready in the matter of a couple minutes. It is actually pretty amazing. I was told about them by a friend, and i will NEVER go elsewhere now! Anyone who is going elsewhere is doing themselves a disfavor. Unlike other drug stores, Keith will also battle and work with your insurance companies for you. That alone took tons of stress and anxiety out of my life!

Talked to the Rotech rep from my sleep center to order supplies in January - they never arrived…read more Talked to Cindy at ABC and ordered supplies - never arrived. Checked back with her to see why and Rotech kicked the order out because it didn't match my previous hose type. Cindy apologized for not catching it and said she'd push the order through right away. Two weeks later - confirmed today that the order did not complete And although she assured me she'd make sure it did - it didn't And she didn't. Thats it for me. For a company that has auto-called me dozens of times about ordering supplies, they can't seem to complete an order. Btw, Rotech's auto calling service does not allow you to specify any changes in mask type etc so dealing with a person is necessary. Not impressed with Rotech or ABC. Also - Katherine W. The people have been nice enough but still not much help. They call when they feel like it to tell you when you are eligible to get your things but, they lack explaining. I haven't had time due to some family issues, but will research other companies. All I want is someone to care as much as I do about getting my equipment. I do appreciate the gentleman that always brings my stuff and explains it.
