All staff were accommodating and friendly, with Freddie and Angela (Jackson location) going above and beyond our expectations with even the smallest of details. They were timely, respectful, and professional. They were available at any time of the day or night to answer any questions that we may have had. They in no way took advantage of my family and kept our costs within budget. I highly recommend entrusting Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home in your time of need - you will be extremely satisfied. Constance(the funeral director) was a dream to work with, answering all of our questions and was always available when I called. She did an excellent job of explaining the process, and she and the other director were always there for us during the viewing, the funeral, graveside services. Constance was unlike any funeral director I have ever encountered. Very personable, friendly, and none of the plastic demeanor that we used associate with the funeral industry. Thank you, Constance, and Lakewood Funeral Home. My Dad would have been proud of your service.

When I got back the bill was 3K higher. I asked why it was higher and they said that was the price all along and I must have misunderstood them. I didn't even have money enough for flowers. A friend bought them for us. It was terrible. I was over a barrel. The plot was in the adjoining cemetery. Everything was over priced. They weren't helpful at all. I suppose it was because I was from out of state. When I did my due diligence, the company that owns this place is under constant litigation for unethical and criminal practices. The number of cases is as long as my arm. Most of my family is buried here. It used to be a great place. This new company is interested in nothing but money. They know you have very few options when it comes to this type thing. It was the worst experience of my life. My dad bought plots there years ago, like back in the 60s. I am going to sell mine as soon as I can get the paperwork settled. I never ever want to deal with these people ever again.

I paid for a private cremation and was informed he would be ready in about a week. After not hearing from them for almost 2 weeks, I called to inquire. I was told there was a maintenance issue with one of their machines, and that he would be ready for pick up on Monday. After again not hearing from them, I called again and was told a manager would return my call with an update. When the manager called, she informed me that my pet was cremated with 19 other pets and there was no way to determine which remains belonged to which pet, and that no remains could be released until all the owners had been notified of the incident. I was informed that an additional 5 pets and 6 pets were also cremated together at the same time. I was offered a refund, and told they are sorry there is nothing else they can do. This place should be further investigated, as I am sure it occurs all the time. Do not use!!! Gross negligence! Fraud!

The staff was super courteous and talked to us like we were old friends. We shared stores of family and great memories with one another; it was a very comforting experience. The staff was very professional and courteous, but what got me was their humanity... through this entire experience... they made me feel like they knew me and my mother.

We were told it would takes long as March or February of 2022 to get all the materials in. My instructions to them was whenever they made the head stone to call me so that my family could be out there when they set it. After a whole year passed still the headstone wasn't ready as I had called repeatedly over the months on its status but always got excuses from they only had temporary help to it was too wet outside and many more all the while communicating that we needed to be notified so we could meet them out there when they set the headstone. In November of 2022 I called on a Friday asking the status for the headstone only to be told it had been set out the day before. Angry, I asked why hadn't I been informed like I repeatedly told the office manager when they were going to set the headstone? Then naturally gave one of her many excuses over the year in that she was off that day and told them to set it in place without informing the family. So because of her we never got to see the setting of the headstone like we told her. Then me not believing her on the date she told me of the headstone setting I called the cemetery to see when the headstone had been set, only to be told that it hadn't been set on Thursday as the office manager said but had been set earlier in the week on Monday or Tuesday. I would not recommend this company unless you like constant excuses and lies upon lies.
