I ordered the goat cheese burger (8,90€) for lunch. Service was quick and attentive. The burger was very tasty and the buns proved to be a sturdy vessel that held all the burger contents in tact. Maybe a notch below Der Fette Bulle, but still good fast casual burger joint.

I will say, however, that you're paying for quality, at least. What I love most about the restaurant's existence in Frankfurt is the good old US standard free soft drink refills that are so hard to find elsewhere in Germany/Europe. As someone who drinks a ton while dining out (usually water, not soda), it's a relief to know there's at least one place I can go where I don't have to decide between stressing my wallet or going thirsty. I tried a mango milkshake, and it was unexpectedly delightful. Also split an order of fries, which was HUGE and well-seasoned. A little piece of Americana right in the heart of Frankfurt.

Food: ordered BBQ chicken fries. The temperature was vwry hot. French fries were very good. The bbq chicken in the picture looked like pulled chicken and we were served deep fried chicken balls/tenders. Everything was temperature hot. Added some sliced radish to our order. The radish were on the dried out side but the radish with the kraut with sauces and fries and chicken balls all worked together and it was a nice train ride snack. Generous portion of food.

Nonetheless, the fries were a great snack on the way to Berlin.

The details are what made this place a bit special (it's all about product differentiation these days). The bread for my 4 EUR Doner Kebab had a chewiness to it that was new to me and I've had doner kebab from NYC to Italy to Africa, so I'd consider this texture something delightfully unusual. Every drop of orange grease from the meat gets absorbed by this fluffy bread. There are two sauces that are applied. The spicy sauce is only mild, so don't worry about any pain upon wiping, if you know what I mean. The service could be faster as the one-man-show does spend time chatting with his frequent friends and they don't seem to mind interrupting him as they loiter about the shop. Another minor note is that the restrooms are in an unmarked staircase that descends into a dark abyss before automatic lights illuminate the tiny bathroom area well after you've encroached on the space, so I recommend turning on your cell phone flashlight before descending.
