The accusatory nature of the owner says enough about this business. And also the guy couldn't say the word knots. He didn't know how to describe a knot. I very much had to try and translate. He also didn't tell me it would be 2 + hrs. And had to use a second person to communicate with me. Didn't speak English so very much got lost in translation. Cut my doodle way too short, which was fine. But left giant mats of hair on his ears. Literally you can see dried shampoo in the knots. I've had to cut them out. I won't be using again.

Well a couple months ago he drops my dog with no word about him completely shaving off my dogs mole. No acknowledgement of doing it or alert to tend to it. Even after this I hired him to groom him (I know silly me) and let him know to be careful of it. Again he didn't even say a word. Well by now the mole had grown back odd and needed to be looked at. I asked him if he could possibly go half on any cost to get it addressed and he plainly told me that if he had to pay for every mole and cut he inflicted on a dog he'd never make money so he's not responsible. Then he gave me back my dog dripping blood from his wound and texted me that I need to pay him so he can go to his next appointment. (He usually leaves and I pay him on Venmo but I guess he thought I wouldn't pay bc I was upset) For me it's not the money and cost to get my dog looked at. It's the complete apathetic attitude that comes from this "caring and gentle" groomer. In his eyes it's not his fault or his problem. So if you want to make sure you pets are in good hands you may want to find someone who is more careful and compassionate. Edit: to add after the owners response. I never demanded anything. I kindly asked you to pay for half-- which is totally reasonable. When you said no I never hounded you for the money. I dropped it. You never apologized or acknowledged that you did anything to my dog. To lie and try to paint your customer out to be something I wasn't is absolutely low. I hope people see for themselves the kind of person you are.

However, after our second or third mobile grooming, we started going to their actual location located in plantation on Broward Boulevard. They are very kind and gentle there. The owner is a Hispanic woman who is very knowledgeable and very empathetic. We've taken three small dogs there now in the last couple of years and we always are satisfied with her work. I highly recommend the location. I believe they are closed on some particular weekdays. Very kind staff with comparable grooming prices for the area.

So they have a mobile groomer as well as a walk in location. I opted for the walk in because it was $10 less to go that route. Furthermore, they are super close to where I'm currently staying so it was a no brainer. Walked into a cutesy shop all decked out with doggie decor and goods like shampoos and perfumes specifically formulated for your pooch. They are located in the plaza across from the Aldi on Broward Blvd (a little west of University). I explained what cut we wanted for her and left. Approximately 4 hours later, they called me to say my baby was ready to be picked up. I'd say the cost for the standard grooming was pretty much the going rate in the area. I paid about $73 (taxes included) and I left more for the tip. My Gigi looked cute when she came running from the back into my arms. And they pretty much did everything I asked for except I wanted her brows a little shorter because I like to see her eyes but they did okay with them still. Unfortunately, I can't get a great pic. We are in a hotel and the lighting is horrible. Also, getting her to stay still long enough for a good pic is nearly impossible but I did my best. The pics don't really do it justice though. She looks so pretty.

Most mobile groomers use cold water. They have consistent staff so you can develop a relationship with the groomer. I like that they are a local company and care about the quality of their work. However, I was later charged additional fees, including gas charges, which were never clearly explained beforehand. My previous grooming service did not include such fees and was much more reasonable, the reason I wanted to use your service is because the ideal of the webcam. Secondly, the camera setup was unnecessarily complicated, making it difficult to monitor the service. I ended up using FaceTime instead, which worked without issue. During the appointment, the groomer (Paula/Paola) spent less than 45 minutes in total, and I personally observed that the actual cleaning of my puppy's teeth took less than a minute. While on FaceTime, she appeared uncomfortable and complained about the smell of the toothpaste, which was concerning. Additionally, I requested nail trimming, but this was not properly completed, as my puppy later scratched me with overly long nails. The entire service lasted approximately 27 minutes, which does not justify the price charged. Most concerning was the safety issue at pickup. My puppy was not properly secured and jumped off the grooming table, exiting the van. This could have resulted in a serious accident, such as being hit by a car. When I brought this to the groomer's attention, her response was that "they know to go back to their house," which I find extremely irresponsible and unacceptable. Overall, this experience was disappointing, unprofessional, and unsafe. I regret using your service and would like an explanation regarding the charges, as well as how you plan to address these concerns moving forward.

Especially my most senior dog that I have, Mufasa. He is 17 years old with arthritis and Jochi has always been so sweet and gentle with him.
