I waited one year with horrible pain in my leg and trying to manage it with compression sleeves/stockings on. No improvement. Finally my PCP recommended and referred me to see Dr. Carullo. I had swelling in my feet and I was unable to fit into my regular shoes and basically had to wear slippers for a long time. The doctor did an incredible job. As I stated above, the results were immediate. But additionally, the healing was quick, and there was very little pain. It felt like I had a bruise for a couple of days, and that was all. Additionally, I don't know who in their office handles the hiring of staff, but they are to be commended. Everyone was so nice, and they made arrangements with my insurance company, and I barely had to lift a finger to get everything done. Who gave me her undivided attention and heard out my concerns. I let her know that I was in so much pain and was so tired of being a prisoner in my own body. The pain had debilitated me and left me partially immobile, making it very difficult to even walk/stand. The front office worked quickly to get the proper approval through my insurance and I was well on my way to have my vein procedures. Dr. Francoisa did my procedures in each leg. He made me feel so comfortable during each procedure. His assistant Brie and him talked to me during the procedures and would at times make me even laugh; this helped to ease my nerves. Soon after the procedures I noticed I could stand with no pain and much of my debilitating symptoms went away. There is much work for me to do to help my condition but with my second chance, I'm actively working out and working on my eating to lose weight. Something I had longed to do for two years. If they don't need the business or are to busy to take me as a patient, it would be greatly appreciated if they would let me know so I can find another doctor or group who has the time to take me as a patient.

The decisions that they are making for my quality of life are truly immense and appreciated. As I sit here it's visit number two here for me. It's time to do some testing to find out if there is a problem and what can be done. In my days of youth, up until a few years ago perhaps I was reckless. Maybe not concerned about choices I made. I sit here again because of a motorcycle accident that nearly took me too. Once we get broken it takes time to heal. After three motorcycle accidents you might give up riding. That decision probably will save my life. Its a long day of testing but I know that I'm in good hands since two of the doctors came in just to say: "hello" to me. The tech that is performing the test was a phenomenal young lady. All of the office staff was beyond pleasant. What more could a patient ask for. In my case all my expectations were met beyond what I could even imagine. I have a severe problem with varicose veins and Dr. Iwamoto is doing the treatments to relieve the pain. I was concerned about the treatment, but Dr. Iwamoto explained things and the ladies at the office have been outstanding to work with. Dr. Iwamoto is board certified and is eminently qualified, this makes a huge difference! They should fire the office manager and get someone who will clean house and hire people who actually care. Just another line on the billing sheet. Update, one of my other doctors called them for a clarification and once again they never called them back. After another in person visit with this complaint and once again to be scheduled, still no call. I called them again two days ago and it rolled to voice mail and I left a detailed message with who is supposed to be their hospital scheduler manager. No call back. So like the other reviewer, I'm off to find another cardiology group that answers their phones and calls patients. Find another practice that answers calls.
