Donna was very helpful and went above and beyond what was required and put me at ease regarding the urgent stressful task I was trying to get sorted. I met with them on the Monday after talking to them on the Friday and they got the whole thing sorted and done (Graysons take note!). Her bad attitude continued and got worse as I became more and more frustrated wit her unhelpful responses. From the moment I spoke to her it was as if I was an annoyance instead of being a potential new customer who is looking to be put at ease and convinced of spending some money with them. If they were the last Notary in the world I wouldn't do business with them. When I mentioned this, she hung up on me! Says it all. This was in stark contrast to the politeness and total helpfulness shown to me by another notary who I shall leave a review on once I have concluded my business with them.

We used Best solicitors in Sheffield as a recommendation from an estate agent to act as…read moreconveyancers for the sale of a deceased relatives property. We were the executors and dealt with Kerrie who was the conveyancer. This is our experience of dealing with Best solicitors. My co executor had difficulty signing up on line for all the money laundering and client checks which seemed to irritate Kerrie and that was what probably got us off on the wrong foot to start with. Very luckily for us, the solicitor acting for the Estate ( definitely not connected to Best) took time out to go through it with her and get the forms completed. He did Kerries job for her. We were asked to download an app in March , once we'd signed up to Best , to keep us up to date with all the lastest information and progress. Well, it was never updated from day one, right through to the end sale in October, despite the promise of the companies client care and attention. Along the way we asked questions of Kerrie that weren't always answered, she didn't acknowledge emails we sent in reply. We sent documents asked for by return email, then a few months down the line, we were asked for them again as Kerrie said they couldn't be found. Overall, Kerrie didn't show the great customer care as promised. Luckily for us the other parties in the chain of sale were communicating regularly so we had our own progress reports. We contacted the CEO and the Director of Residential Conveyancing twice by email to express our disappointment with the service and to ask why we weren't afforded the same treatment as the clients who had left glowing reviews on their website. No response what so ever, so we take it as they're not in the least bit concerned. The upshot is, it seemed like that because their money is guaranteed once the sale is completed, they don't need to bother. In our opinion and our experience of dealing with this firm, although they got a straight forward job done, Bests client care is below standard and their communication is poor. Look elsewhere, at least pay a firm who's willing to treat all their clients with common courtesy.
