If I could give it a 0, it's such a worst mobile phone insurance company. Never buy insurance from them. It's worse than Apple or other companies. Don't believe their ads. Their logo is connected with progressive. Suspected of deceiving consumers... trust me, I swear with my grandmother graveyard.

Information Harvesting rather than Insurance!!!

Had 2 cell phone policies for several years. Dropped phone and it split into three pieces, Filed claim but it is written in the small print of their contract that claims will be denied unless YOU grant THEM salvage rights to the complete remains of your phone! Now, WHY would I give them my phone with Usernames, Passwords, Login Authenticators, Banking Apps, Personal Records, Medical Lab Results, Prescription Medication Information, PIN Numbers, Checking and Savings Account Numbers and Routing Numbers, Email Passwords, and Login Information, Text Messages, One Time Passwords, Notes and Photos? All of that GIVEN to THEM in order to pay a claim? In this Age of Information Harvesting? They are SCAMMY, and DIABOLICAL AF! Who in their RIGHT MIND is going to SURRENDER ALL of their PERSONAL INFORMATION for a $400.00 claim? If you're NOT WITH THEM LOOK ELSEWHERE! IF YOU ARE WITH THEM; IMMEDIATELY START LOOKING FOR A MORE ETHICAL COMPANY AND CANCEL THE B.S. POLICIES you may have with them! I'll HAPPILY replace my own phone before handing this company ALL of MY PERSONAL INFO!

It's been over 2 months since I filed a claim and submitted all the documents they required. (Receipt, police report, device Checklist and ID)... they told me they called the store where I purchased the phone at and have not been able to speak to someone on the phone from that store and that they can't process the claim. I don't understand what that has to do with me if you can't get someone on the phone. My friend told me about a credit card from WF, that provides free phone insurance if you pay your telephone bill with your credit card (that way they verify ownership of your device automatically through your phone bill. Smart). Will be canceling my policy with this company, and get a WF credit card. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS INSURANCE. They are a scam. As for me, I'll be filing a civil law suit for breach of contract and bad faith, and will make sure I share my experience with them on the local news and have my brother in law write an article about them. His editor loves these kinds of stories. If it can prevent potential people from being scammed, that would be at least something good coming out of this whole thing.

DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE through this company. My son is required to have a Chromebook for school, and the school chose this company to get group insurance from for all the devices. My son's track pad went out on his device after over a year. I filled out the paper form the school gave me and sent it in on October 10th 2019.It took quite a bit of delays and back and forth with stupid questions from the rep and adjuster before they finally approved the claim October 28th and allowed me to send the device in for repairs. The instructions I was emailed to follow in regards to sending in the device once the box was received were misleading. They said I had to notate the claim number (which they have yet to provide me with since I the school is the policy holder and not myself even though I paid through them the enrollment fee) and they also needed me to pay the deductible (which again, I had no information on since I am not the policy holder) I emailed the rep/ adjuster back asking how I go about obtaining this information when I was informed, I didn't have a deductible and to skip that part. Well why would you tell me that from the beginning instead of sending that an email that it had to be paid before I shipped out the device?? So we finally get past that part and my device ships out with no communication from them again for a long period of time. I email to ask for a status update and was told parts had been orders. Finally, DECEMBER 13th we received the Chromebook back. My son and I opened it on Sunday December 15th to make sure the track pad had legitimately been fixed and in working condition only to find white glowing marks in the screen when it powered on! Granted, my son had scratched the screen way before the track pad went out, but these white mark where caused either by the repair facility or maybe the FEDEX carrier. I contacted both insurance and replied to an email I had received from the repair facility a few days prior that my device had shipped. A really nice guy named Evan called me back from the repair facility to discuss my email. After talking about the new issue with the white marks, Evan felt that it was more then likely something that happened in possession of FedEx, but he said he had already spoken with my insurance rep or adjuster at Worth Group and they needed me to open anew claim for the new damage and we would get it sent back out to be fixed. I emailed my contact that I had been previously dealing with at Worth Group (Allyson Rogers) and told her I spoke with the repair center and they said to go ahead and open a new claim and they would get a box ready and ship it out to me that day so we can get the Chromebook in and repaired as a priority. Allyson's response was to go online and submit a new claim. When attempting to do this, I had to register as a new user, and then once all complete it told me my email wasn't associated with any policies (more then likely because the policy was STILL under the school and not myself as the individual) I emailed her AGAIN,writing "I just created an account and logged in but it says I don't have any policies associated with my account. Please help" Her response, Please contact customer service at 1-800-620-2885 to assist you with this matter. So, I called customer service. After having to explain all the events leading up to this moment and what I was trying to do with the claim, I was transferred to oh so friendly Allyson when she informed me that I could not open a claim because the white marks I was referring to were "Cosmetic Damage" and there policy does not cover cosmetic damage. Are you freak'n kidding me? You gave me the run around knowing damn well you were going to come at me with this "Cosmetic damage" crap, even though the repair facility was on my side and did not see these marks while working on the device. In fact, not only did it happen out of my hands, but it happened while with the carrier and repair facility that YOU are partnered with while they were in possession of my device. And yet somehow, insurance doesn't cover that? She was "sorry for my frustration" though so I guess that means I should just be okay with the fact that the device is now damaged at the hands of Worth Groups partners but not covered by insurance. After seeking legal advice, it has been brought to my attention that regardless of the terms of policy regarding cosmetic damage, that the new damage was acquired while in the possession of repair facility/ carrier (FedEx) and the insurance company is actually responsible for the new damages as there was no waiver or anything additionally signed acknowledging that damage by 3rd party would not be covered (cosmetic or not) Allyson, you are a worthless human being and I hope your holidays are as sad and miserable as you are. PS for any interested, see attached phot. Yellow circle indicates pre existing damage caused by my son, Red marks are circling the damage my device was returned with.

Excellent service that's cheaper than AppleCare and covers more (important things like if your iPhone is stolen).
