    Kids skin suit. $3
    Vickie M.

Little bit expensive for a thrift shop. But if you have the right color ticket on something there is a discount. I bought four kids ski suits. Like new!!! Lots to look at. They only accept cash. Which is a pain. But there's an ATM machine in the store. Plenty of parking. No dressing room so wear something that you can slip clothes over. It's a fun place to go on a treasure hunt. Four stars since they only take cash.

Clothes sorted by color instead of size? Check! Snow globes next to religious icons and ashtrays? Check! Full size Barbie dream house for $15 while a 40 year old cassette deck is $79? Check, and check! We must be at World Thrift. There's no ambiance, the customer service is spotty at best, but they sell cold drinks and have an ATM. I'm sold.

World Thrift is always such a fun experience! I find something every time I go in--much to my husband's dismay, haha. The store is impressively organized considering how much they have, and new items are constantly being added throughout the day. Depending on which day you go, there are different discounts on specific color tags, which change throughout the week. I often shop here the same way I would at regular store,: with something specific in mind--and somehow, it always ends up being there. If you haven't visited yet, I definitely recommend checking it out, even if just for the experience! Service staff is very friendly. The selection is great and the value is reasonable, especially if you make sure to pay attention to their bulletin boards for the days and aim to get things with the specified stickers that are on sale for the day. Today, Nathalie was so helpful at check out, her kind of demeanor and she is very helpful and this made it a pleasant experience.

Very busy here. But expected for a Saturday afternoon. We browsed a bit but didn't get the full experience. Just way too many people. I have to come back early morning, on a weekday. This was just a pop in since I was in the area. There's plenty parking and sections are well labeled inside the shop. We'll shop another day.

Inside this place is huge .

Not my first time here ! The parking lot is packed with vehicles and it's hard to find a parking place. I parked by Presedente next door ! Place inside so many people looking for bargains ! Many people had their carts full! This day it was 50% off yellow tags . Place inside clean and very organized! They have clothes , household, children's toys , dvd's , cd's ! You name it you can probably find it . I didn't buy anything this day but have in past . When I'm in area I would come here often.

The shop sits on the west side of Federal Highway. Parking is a bit of a challenge especially when any nearby lots are full. And once inside, there's so much stuff that even a few folks will make the place seem crowded. But everything displayed is so unique and interesting and eye catching that you'll hardly know where to look first. If you're of a certain age, the "vintage" clothing will look a bit familiar like things you used to actually wear years ago. But most things have a little something extra, too. Some clothing has stenciled skulls; or extra embellishments; or lace, or fringe, etc. All sorts of clothing. Accessories and purses are different -- like the one that was hamburger shaped. There are a number of "cool" tee-shirts. And strange things from a bucket of dolls heads to candles and voodoo items. The jewelry alone will keep you busy looking at all the appealing choices. There are lots of things here that would make a good gift for someone who's a bit original and off beat. Or a good gift to treat yourself. I'm sure we will return when nearby.

In any case I'd much rather purchase estate items which are usually of a nicer quality than thrift, at a clean store like this. Also you are not having to drive around to multiple addresses. Everything I saw was in great condition. They had furniture, collectibles, mattresses, house hold goods, and even some clothes. If it makes up items in someone's household, they sell it. A wooden T.V.console was only $25. They had some nice knick knack shelves and I am currently studying my walls to see if they will accommodate them.I wanted to know if prices were firm or negotiable but the man who was working was chatting to someone else and I didn't want to interrupt. Rejecting the traditional church pulpit, they preached to those most in need, including the poor, homeless, hungry, and destitute. Despite disapproval from the established church, they trained evangelists across England and, in 1875, returned to London's West End to form the Christian Mission. In 1878, while reading the mission's annual report, William Booth noticed the phrase "The Christian Mission is a volunteer army." He famously crossed out volunteer army and replaced it with Salvation Army. From that point on, converts became "soldiers of Christ" or Salvationists. Their message spread quickly, and today the Salvation Army serves in over 100 countries. The Salvation Army operates churches worldwide, known as Salvation Army Corps, but they are probably best known for their thrift stores. Purchases at these stores fund local emergency relief efforts and programs, including services in Palm Beach County. Many locations also support Adult Rehabilitation Centers, helping individuals combat addiction, and the organization is known for hiring ex-felons. Every donation or purchase directly contributes to meaningful community programs. I discovered this Salvation Army store while driving through Lake Worth. Although the exterior was a bit cluttered with plastic tubs and bikes, the inside was clean, organized, and inviting. Inventory included like-new home goods, small appliances, art, furniture, linens, books, toys, and a large selection of clothing and accessories. Notably, there was beautiful furniture--a wood bed and an intricate wooden buffet table--and even a wedding dress. Thrifting not only helps people save money but also keeps items out of landfills. The Salvation Army welcomes donations of gently used clothing, furniture, household goods, appliances, and even vehicles. Whether you're hunting for vintage treasures, everyday essentials, or just browsing for a good deal, this store deserves a spot on your Palm Beach County thrift list.
