The store is impressively organized considering how much they have, and new items are constantly being added throughout the day. Depending on which day you go, there are different discounts on specific color tags, which change throughout the week. I often shop here the same way I would at regular store,: with something specific in mind--and somehow, it always ends up being there. If you haven't visited yet, I definitely recommend checking it out, even if just for the experience! Service staff is very friendly. This place is awesome. So, it's intense and a lot. The lines are crazzzzyyy but they do have good sales based on tag colors and so much inventory. Their prices are pretty reasonable, but their lululemon is definitely more expensive than most thrift stores, but you can find a ton of lululemon. I also like how the line up products by color, but nothing is really done by size. If you go, plan for at least a couple of hours to dig. And make sure you have cash! read more

This place is huge and has so much! However it's sooo expensive! These are NOT thrift prices. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

The store has a decent selection, though prices on many items are high for a thrift store. The discount system is a nice touch. However, my experience was completely ruined by the behavior of one employee, Danielle. At checkout, she initiated a confrontation, spoke rudely and accusatorily, asked inappropriate personal questions, and escalated the situation by calling the police without cause. This conduct reflects poorly on the store, risks losing loyal customers, and I hope management takes steps to ensure staff handle customers professionally in the future. read more

We went inside the large building looking for some lawn chairs. This place is very big and has a lot of everything. We also wanted a cooler for the beach. The chairs were the first items we found and they had a few that worked. Got a nice lawn chair for $15 and my wife's was beach chair for $10. We knew we couldn't take them on the plane so we left them at the VRBO. Store had a great selection of books as most do and I found a Biography from Bruce Dickenson the lead signer of Iron Maiden. Knowing we couldn't take much back on the plane we just looked mostly. Place had some good deals with price coloring tags and depending on the day discounts if the tag color was that day. This is my favorite thrift store ever! It's a bit far from me, so we have to make it a day trip to go, but are never disappointed when we do! The selection is amazing!! The store is GIANORMOUS!!!! I love thrifting and despite having driven by here countless times while living in wpb, I only ventured in this past weekend, after reading the reviews. As I said, I consider myself an experienced hunter of great finds, and my skill is very well honed. However, I was gravely disappointed after visiting this place. While it is HUGE, there is really just a lot of junky crap. And of course maybe it was just on my visit, but I'd be inclined to think it has more to do with their general discernment (or lack thereof) on items to sell. I saw a cool green vineyard vines top but $25 for something preowned (at a thrift store) that cost $45-$50 new, the discount isn't there. You could do better at other thrift stores, or on poshmark or eBay. As my partner put it, there was ultimately just something very "sad" about all the merchandise. The kids items were also just ....bad. Horrible selection, and not great condition. I came across an Elvis doll (not something I was interested in buying) but thought it was crazy that the plastic packaging was all yellowed and cloudy from age and completely cracked open and they still had the nerve to ask $25 for it. It's no longer a collectors piece in that condition and who's going to pay that for a toy that most kids wouldn't even know. (Though I was quite the Elvis fan as a child)... Even a plain square vase was $25. The pricing is not competitive and it honestly makes me feel like they're trying to take advantage of their customers. This store has a great selection of books that are in decent condition for about $1-2 each. I've browsed the clothing, bags, and shoes before but everything is definitely marked up. Fake coach purses priced $40-50, used Hollister jeans marked for $20. Some days depending on the tags there is a sale; however, some things are expensive for being second hand so be mindful. There are no fitting rooms so if you want to try on clothes wear tight clothing. read more

If you read no other part of my review just know this store is CASH ONLY! This is part of a chain of thrift stores that have 22 locations across the country including the Red White & Blue stores in Hialeah and North Miami, and the Thrift Store in Jacksonville. They are for profit thrift stores meaning they are not directly affiliated with any charity. They claim to help charities by purchasing items from them. They are also keeping items out of the landfills and offering low cost items to people who might not otherwise be able to afford them. This was my first visit and there was a bit of a learning curve. As soon as I walked in and saw the line I almost turned around and walked out but said what the heck, I'm here, I'll just take a look around but I really hope I don't find anything. Within two seconds I found a little trinket box for only $2 that perfectly matched my grandmother's china set that I inherited. Bam, there went my entire afternoon as I was sucked into World Thrift. LOL This store is massive. They have tons of clothing, household goods, small appliances, toys, books, etc. My next find I was a set of dishes from Temptations in old world green, that perfectly matched the baking dish set I recently purchased at another thrift store. They actually had a lot of pieces by Temptations. I ended adding a Christmas platter and baking dish. Next I discovered they had vintage Pyrex. I was able to score a small bowl in my favorite pattern, butterprint turquoise. By this point I was done shopping and headed to the checkout. I kid you not when I say there are shorter lines at Disney. Fortunately there was an express line for 5 items or less and I had exactly 5 things. Unfortunately it was still really long and rand down the kids clothing isle that was filled with toys. That meant the whole time I waited I had unmasked kids darting into me and past me as they raced for toys in the aisle as their parents ignored them. After waiting 45 minutes I finally inched close enough to the front to see the signs, one of which said cash only. I frantically raced to find someone who worked there and who confirmed they were indeed cash only. I never carry cash anymore but I will after this. I ended up tucking in my cart behind the registers and racing to the bank a half mile away. When I came back my cart was still there thankfully but I had to get back in the line from the beginning. It did move faster the second time my ordeal isn't over yet. BTW I asked the cashier if the line is always like this and she said it was. So for the finale they let you use the cart in the store but you can't take it to your car in the parking lot, not even a little bit before it locks. That left me lugging a set of heavy dishes and serving pieces to the far reaches of the parking lot with no assistance. I prayed the last bag wouldn't rip and I am sure I was a comical sight trying to get to my car. By the time I started driving home I was exhausted. So I learned today World Thrift has a lot of great things at reasonable prices but make sure you bring cash, a friend, and your own cart to transport your purchase to the car. read more

Prices have soared at World Thrift. I found the store 6 years ago. I'm a crafter and love unique clothing. I used to drive from Jupiter to the store on a regular basis and was always pleased with the prices and selection. I went a couple days ago and was extremely disappointed. I saw used dollar tree items listed at $1-$2!!!! Items I usually buy like yarn, wreaths, floral items, decorative pieces for my wreaths, etc. are now so expensive I'd rather buy brand new from Temu and wait for the items to come to me. Shipping is free and I can save my time and gas. The clothing is also extremely expensive now. The prices are not thrift store prices. World Thrift, get your act together. You're losing customers. I used to spend $200 to $500 every trip, which was minimum 2x a month! My husband would also come along and spend another $150-$200 on his collector items. Plus, the store is DIRTY!!! Dust bunnies everywhere and flying dust particles. Many customers sneezing and coughing due to the high allergens in the air. You can tell what has been sitting by the level of dust on it! I won't be going back. World Thrift, your greed has gotten away with you. I'm sticking to my local Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity from now on.
