What a unique shopping experience. Look at all those enticing photos! And it's constantly changing. Plus, all you have to do is give them your phone number and you'll be notified of every sale, and they run them all the time. Really, no matter your motivation to shop, either you can spend hours here or make it a quick dash for the sauce/herb/pasta/chip/lamp or frame you can't find anywhere else. Even furniture! And rugs. This is the type of store that you definitely don't "need" to go to, but it is a fun store to just walk around and look at all of the randomness. What do I mean? Well...I found some filet mignon beef jerky here that I am positively addicted to, so I don't "need" it per say...but I want it! I want it bad! World Market is full of stuff like this. A lot of random food from all over the US and international areas as well. If you're a Cafe Du Monde fan, they have beignet mix and chicory coffee from them at this location. And the sweets, oh man, the sweets are plenty and varied here. Some truly tasty treats await you on each aisle. I talk mostly about the food here, because that is really my main reason for going here. Though, we did some spice rack organizers that looked pretty swanky, and they were decent priced. They have random Pier 1 style furniture and art, old school children's toys, and they carry seasonal items as well like Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc... Pro Tip: Sign up for their text alerts while in the store and save 10% on your first order. They also have plenty of coupons and deals they offer as well including in store scavenger hunts from time to time. The lines here can get long and move at a snail's pace, so be warned. There are usually only one or two checkers, and the items here can be awkward to deal with at the checkout line. Imagine trying to buy a chair, some glass stuff and a chocolate bar. I stopped by today to see if I could find the rest of the items on my list from my Thanksgiving trip to Kansas City this weekend. It looks like the mead I was looking for,your store did not carry(which bit). But the young man who helped me in that department was very gracious in giving me directions to a honey mead which you did carry.(He also let me know that each world market is stocked differently. I was grateful for that tip) I was also elated to find the Minnie Mouse tea that I could not find on my Thanksgiving trip. I have to admit I did not know what this place was exactly. The first time I went was during Yelp Elite Perks Event. I was blown away. The generosity from the samples, gift card and swag alone! Then there is the actual store. I literally want all. the. things. The decor for the home is modern and cool. It is also priced very reasonably. I will say my favorite part is the food and drinks. I was swimming in happiness that is the tea section. The pickled items are a plenty as is the soda and candy. Everything is from a different country. I miss France so much and this new store helps a lot. My only complaint is that they are discontinuing some candy that I love. Please go and tell me what you think! I am so excited to write this review today! My husband and I have been on a major shop for furniture for our new home after selling all of ours with our home sale. This is not as fun as I thought it would be and dealing with sales people that are less than excited to make it easy is the norm. This is not the case with our experience at our TULSA WORLD MARKET! Thank you Robert English! My husband was even blown away with the help he provided us! He completely filled our back patio with furniture and helped us with our dining chairs. It could have not been any easier, fun and enjoyable! Several darling staff members loaded a ton of furniture with happy and sweet attitudes. Why can't OKC have one of these? Location is a little tricky, just off Skelly drive and basically right behind Promenade Mall. You can order online pickup in store which is super convenient. Always greeted, never rushed. The wall décor/bath/furniture is all on the right side of the store which just leaves you wondering around wanting more. They always have different promotions going on. If you haven't signed up for their rewards system, do so! It's free to join and you save 15% off your first purchase. The furniture options they have in store is limited compared to online but you can always order online and pickup in store from this location. In the center is tons of kids toys, they have an abundant amount of unique kid items you won't find anywhere else such as puppets to books to miniature etch a sketch! The back area is mainly food and baskets. Tons of food and lots of different chocolate which I don't really like their chocolate nothing fancy about it. The left hand side of the store is all kitchen and dining so many great pieces that are staples that you'll have and use forever. I bought a kitchen item in Tulsa, brought it back to OKC and realized it was broken. I email corporate and within 24 hours the store manager is calling me asking for my address to ship out a replacement - talk about amazing customer service! If you want to step back in time, check out this place! They have items from my childhood! Three words... Clearly Canadian Water. Yes, they have it. It's just as amazing as it was when I was a teenager! The manufacturers haven't the recipe at all. Cost Plus World Market sells the water individually or by a 12 pack. The 12 pack will run you 27.00, but this is the best sparkling water on the market! The store is also a cultural experience. They have fashions, food, and home goods made from all over the world! It's so interesting to see on one aisle German candy next to Indian candy and on the next aisle Saffron and Wasabi. The prices are very reasonable and there is so much to choose from. The sales people were also very friendly and knowledgable about the products. I will definitely return. read more

This is a fun place to stop and kill some time, just to check out what new items they have. Their rewards program gives away free items every once while, so definitely sign up for it. I really enjoy their food section in the back! Always some knew to discover. The staff members are friendly and helpful, and the store is always clean and tidy. I love this hidden gem in midtown Tulsa! Interesting household items, apparel, and internat'l food items that you may not find anywhere else in Tulsa. Today I had an especially good experience there thanks to manager TRACY. She helped me straighten out a problem with redeeming a coupon, and I was able to walk out with an armful of unusual, quality STEM toys and crafts projects for my grandkids. During an earlier visit I found an artsy, linen-look shower curtain to match my bathroom after looking through probably thousands of shower curtains on Amazon, ebay, Etsy, BB&B, Overstock, Cafe Press, HD, Lowe's, and Wayfair. It reminded me of Trader Joes (another new addition to Tulsa) mixed with Target...so two of my favorite stores into one! There were soooo many things that I could see in my home. There was so much to look at, so I could have spend hours in the store. There is home decor, gifts, and food. It is unique food that you do not see everyday. The only drawback was the check out process. There are only five cash registers, which made the check out process longer than necessary. I am very thankful for this addition to Tulsa. Fun store with good prices. If you have lived overseas or even visited and miss all the snacks or soft drinks, this is your go to place. This would also be a cute place to come for party or gift bag items. The stuff is out of the box, especially for Oklahoma. I love their selection of mugs and teas. IMO, things are affordably priced. We have been to the World Market in the Dallas area and loved it. 1st time at the Tulsa location. We were in town for a graduation and had some time to kill, plus we usually buy lots of the different pasta sauces when in Dallas. It's a nice, clean open area store. Well lit and had some nice items as gifts for Mothers Day. Didn't find any pasta sauces we wanted to try, but did purchase some scented soaps, hand lotion because they had flamingos on them. I'm a sucker for the long legged bird. Oh, also some Jammy Dodgers which I haven't found anywhere else in the USA and I've been wanting to try them as it's Doctor Who's favorite cookie. I'd go back. It's an interesting place to find imported furniture, textiles and decor. They had a pretty big selection of wines as well. Cost Plus World Market is like a mix of an international speciality foods store, a furniture store, and a craft store, with a large selection of wines as well. I've been to this one a few times and it is always clean and the staff is friendly. It is fun to check out all the quirky things you can find, as well as find unique ingredients for and quick prep international meals that you might not find in a regular grocery store. Employees are disrespectful towards customers.. Argumentative... Not trained. Do not listen. Too busy saying they've never heard of their own policies... I guess that falls under, not trained. Employee won't just get a manager; wanted to just say she'd never heard of a receipt adjustment with a coupon of a previous purchase within 10 days ... Manager on duty was just as bad... Instead of listening to customer, she over talks customer.. May need to go back to training and realize that brick and mortars are going out of business because potential customers don't want to deal with these type of employees.. Love the store. Great people work here. Very friendly. However, this is truly the most inefficient place I've ever been to. Five employees will surround a register because of an issue and then there is a cattle line of people waiting to check out. The system for getting furniture from the back takes forever and then you have to lug the stuff up front (to the other point of clogged inefficiency) to complete the transaction. Adding insult to this experience is that world market packages everything so that it takes 30 minutes to unwrap it and you're left with a ton of stuff to recycle or throw away. My pro tip is to unpackage everything right there after you check out and leave them with the hassle of recycling. read more

I found a couch that I liked at their store and was told that I had to buy it online. Why? I don't know. Waited 10 days for it to ship. When I received it it was badly damaged by a forklift and stained. Also wasn't notified that it was there and it was left outside. I talked to customer service immediately and was told that the damaged couch would be picked up in two days and the couch would be delivered again in five days. Ok, sounds reasonable. Ten days later I am still stuck with no place to sit and no place to park my car, I am still storing their junk couch in my garage. I called and wanted a refund and was told that I had to wait until they picked up the junk couch, which is one of the main reasons I was dissatisfied, they left me storing their junk for almost two weeks. Their customer service experience was the worst. I don't like being lied to. Or not being kept up to date with the status of my order. I could have just as easily spent my thousand dollars at Mathis Brothers (good experience with them), or Amazon and had a similar couch in a few days along with notice to be home and receive it. I will not shop here ever again and will not make any recommendations other than to stay away from this place with the worst customer service ever! I wish I could give no stars. Now, I am still waiting for them to get their trash out of my garage and refund my money. I will keep you posted. read more

I enjoyed getting to be invited with the Yelp of Tulsa to check out this new location. I love that it's close to my neighborhood! I have never been to a World Market so I didn't have any expectations. We got to sample some items, make a scarf, and just take our time experiencing the store. I really didn't interact with any staff much, so it was nice not to have pushy sales people on the floor. This store is great because the prices are reasonable but good quality items. You can find something for almost anyone in this store. It's most likely my new favorite I loved seeing food items, beverages, spices, coffee, teas, etc that you don't see in your everyday store. The feel of this store was very industrial, rustic but organic if that makes any sense. I was quite surprised on some of the furniture prices, I expected them to be more expensive. It would be easy to find good quality items to furnish your home, decorate an apartment, find a gift for someone, and if you got your kiddo with you they have a small children's area. I had never been to a World Market, but I've heard friends talk about them, so I was excited that we finally got one here in Tulsa. Another reviewer described it as Pier One meets Trader Joe's, and I agree with that assessment. There were lots of great snacks and food from all over--things you read about on blogs, but can never seem to find in your regular grocery store. The furniture was all very interesting and fashionable, but a bit out of my price range. I found their shower curtains to be fairly priced, and I think I'm going to be back soon to buy one. I'd say the only thing that could have improved my experience was a litttttttttle bit less pushiness from the cashier to join the mailing list. I get SO much email, so I usually avoid email lists unless I know I'm going to be in the store at least once a month. Still, after nearly 2-3 minutes of pressuring, I finally gave in. I think a "no thank you" should be an acceptable answer. Small complaint though. :) read more

It has a small amount of furniture, light fixtures, and pillows. I walked around the small edibles area and was happy to find unique chips and salsa. I was invited to the store as a part of a Yelp event coinciding with their grand opening week. First, I must confess I'm not a shopper kind of guy. Sure I need stuff - food mostly and about once a year some new socks but beyond that I'm good. So I was happy to find I really did enjoy my experience in World Market. They have a decently broad selection of things to capture your interest. Furniture, food, kitchen items, coffees and teas, etc. I picked up one of my favorite journal brands there and my sweetie got some cool spice containers and some coffee.
