This is just not my vibe, I prefer candy stores to look like a cotton candy wonderland, or a Willy Wonka movie, not a gas station from the 50s. I took off some stars because I find the juxtaposition of toys and candy (mostly for kids) and a few more adult items in the store very odd. Nothing crazy, but there are some pinup style posters and a puzzle with female nudity. Also some sodas with pinup style women (Farrah faucet and Marilyn, etc.) Luckily my kids didn't notice any of it, I just think it would be nice to see an end of advertisements objectifying women. Also why the candy cigarettes, aren't they illegal?Feels like a step back in time (and progress).

Now there are a total of 81 locations in United States. They carry 1000's of unique candy that's rare, like from the 1960s to 1980s. They carry candy from back in the days. Like when childhood was done right! They have fun gag gifts, posters, fun socks, and toys. Such an entertaining store to walk around in! If you need a horse mask... they've got it. You just never know when you might need one, and if you want a soda that taste like bacon or carrot cake... they've got that too. They have candy with meal worms and other insects as well. I'm sure you will be able to find just the right candy for you : )

This place is still one of my favorite places to stop when I visit Tulsa. For such a small store,…read moreit has an astonishingly large selection of souvenirs for sale. So much cool stuff! However, I noticed that it seems to have less cool stuff on the shelves than it did on my previous visits. Even so, it still has plenty. You need a souvenir that says Tulsa, or Route 66? This is the place to find it. And they still have the super cool Okies trinket machine. It takes $5 tokens, but I don't even care, I love that machine! Love me some Okies! First thing I did was buy a token and try my luck. I got a duplicate Buck Atom, which I ended up giving to my sister to start her collection of Okies. What's missing are the Rayguns and Robots I raved about in my previous review. They are no longer sold here. When I didn't see any on display I asked the person behind the counter about them. She graciously shared that the guy that creates those robots, Oklahoma artist Josh Waddell, has a space down the block at a business named Meadow Gold Mack. I had never heard of Meadow Gold Mack, so I was grateful for the information. It's a great place to visit too. I enjoyed looking at all the great souvenirs and collectibles. After I saw everything, I bought a couple post cards and some stickers, and I was on my way to my next stop. Mikey C says: Buck Atom's Cosmic Curios on 66? Five Star All Day!
