I found and tried this gym when I first moved to Quebec about 10 months ago... I signed up for a…read morethree month period before signing a longer contract. I wanted a personal trainer so all in all i paid $700 for 3 months. During those three months I discovered that their trainers are sweet but not effective at all! There are some true gems like Nadia and Caroline but for the most part the trainers are less than motivational and seemed bored. Among other indicators, i know this because I worked with 6 different trainers and during my one-on-ones I often made some intentional errors in my stance/position, things that are obvious "no-nos" and the trainers said nothing at all. In addition trying to get an appointment with one of the good trainers is impossible (and i understand, everyone chooses them!) This gym has a lot of services packed in this small space... They get one of their stars for the options available to their clientele and for the group classes they offer (Tabata class with Nadia was a favourite); the other star goes to some of the wonderful ladies that work there. We all have our own personal fitness goals, but going to the gym takes energy, motivation and self discipline. So when we get there, we deserve knowledgable, experienced and professional help. After 3 months of training i saw no real results. At the end of the day my personal physical results are my responsibility and I can't blame a gym or trainer for that; but if you're going to spend your hard earned dollars somewhere, look for another place.
