They ask you about your background and you take a few Microsoft assessments to determine where your skills are. After I told them what I had been doing in America, they found me similar work. I made the mistake of going with Harris Jones (also around the area) first and really regret all the time lost with them (they like to "dangle" you along just to keep you on the books). Now usually when recruitment agencies call you up they just want to get you on the books and a lot of the time you wont hear from them again. But Adecco were great, I literally went in did a quick computer test and they sent me on my way to my new temp job which i started the next day. The only think I found annoying was that you had to fax your time sheet instead of emailing it but maybe that has changed now. Highly recommended if you are looking for a job.

I know I was for many years and registered with an agency, in Sutton, that found me any temp office and driving jobs that came up or they had canvassed. I did pay a one off fee and received a print out of the situations I had indicated. Is all on computer now and in shop windows? Very strange!
