This was also our first time traveling out of the country in a decade, so we were anxious about navigating international travel. Paul went above and beyond the typical duties of a travel agent. He was well informed about LGBTQIA safety around the world and gave us multiple great honeymoon options. Paul spent a lot of time going over everything with us and made sure that we understood the pros and cons of every option in our price range such as which resorts had better food, family friendly vs adult only resorts, which resorts were more about the nightlife/party experience vs a more quiet stay. He assisted us with all of the logistics, phone calls, very minute details, and planning/itinerary for our trip to an all-inclusive in Cabo, Mexico. He looked into all of our special requests for additional excursions and got back to us in a timely manner every time with multiple options. He truly took care of everything under the sun including writing up an email per my request with a list of when, who, and how much to tip at our resort. Paul made sure to caution us about potential scammers who would (and did) agressively approach us in the airport as well as other trip-specific and country specific details that absolutely saved us from unnecessary stress/costs/safety risks. Paul made himself readily available for our call anytime while we were on our trip and encouraged us to call him if there was anything that we needed. When I called him during our honeymoon to request a last-minute, romantic sunset sailboat outing, he sprung into action and got it all set up for us while we continued to relax and enjoy ourselves. On another occasion, I called Paul in a panic, thinking we had missed our transportation due to our tardy arrival. Paul called me back in just a minute or so and got everything sorted out for us right away. We felt that he truly had our back, every step of the way. With the level of care that Paul showed us, he felt more like a warm and worldly family member than just any travel agent, and at the same time he is also incredibly professional. We were completely taken care of and felt very safe in his capable hands. I highly recommend his services, especially for any LGBTQIA community members but also for anyone who is planning a trip abroad. I cannot emphasize enough the level of personalization he put into our trip planning on our behalf and how incredibly grateful we feel to have had Paul's support and expertise throughout this experience. My wife and I will 100% use Rainbow Voyages again.

Mainline vacations is a smaller travel agency that boasts helping you plan a luxury vacation. Like…read moremost travel agencies, they also state that there are incentives and benefits they can give you by booking with them instead of booking directly with a large company. We made a large group reservation of 23 people through this company for a Royal Caribbean cruise for my fathers 50th birthday. I can honestly say that it was hands down the worst customer service I've ever received. Honestly if I could give them no stars I would. Yes my family had a lot of questions because it was the first cruise for many of them. But from the beginning we were greeted with attitude, condescension, and disdain. Jane (our travel agent) frequently mixed up paper work, sending information to the wrong houses and just throwing packets together with missing documents. Outside of calling to ask questions, which shouldn't be a problem, I never did anything annoying but I personally was always treated like a burden. My aunt and I wanted upgrades for our rooms since the prices had went down and Jane could not stress enough how annoyed she was by the process. And although we were very pleased with the upgrades, she failed to mention to us BEFOREHAND that it would mean losing the room credits we were given by Royal Caribbean, as well as being kicked out of our group reservation. Without this information, we obviously weren't able to make an informed decision and put my father in jeopardy of getting a room comp, which is the birthday gift we were all hoping for. But what really prompted me to write this review was that when I called to ask some clarifying questions a week before the cruise (I still hadn't found out where my room was for example, I didn't know where the itinerary for the cruise was, and all of my family were not eating together, though we explicitly asked that we could be) and get everything settled, before I could even begin to ask a question or state my concerns, the "manager" Craig, began to raise his voice at me. He was extremely aggressive and defensive, stating that the travel agent would not be "spending anymore time with this", that "Jane had bent over backwards for 'you people'" and finally...the best part...that "next time, you should call someone else because we don't want the business". He didn't listen to me and kept asking Jane, WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE, questions, in an attempt to prove that I was wrong to call and complain at all. To be clear, I have no doubt in my mind that Craig is not a manager because his professionalism leaves much to be desired. This is my very first yelp review. That's how important this is to me. They have our money now, we are going on the cruise and we can't do anything to change the fact that we actually lost benefits versus gaining them with this travel agency. I just wanted to provide an informative review, especially since there are none for this company, to illuminate their business practices.

They are very detailed when explaining everything from flights to hotels to any extra charges that may be associated with your chosen packages. We've booked a tour though China with them and is booking one for Japan now. They can also arrange for a bus to take you to and from the airport (in our case Newark) for an additional charge. And most importantly, they are very friendly and patient with my millions of questions!

We had an Awesome experience thanks to our Guide - Kwaku Boateng and our Driver- Francis Amevor. Francis must be the best driver in all of Ghana. He drove professionally and safely and took us everywhere in Accra, Elmina, Cape Coast and beyond. Kwaku is the most awesome and outstanding Guide ( this is an understatement) that anyone could be fortunate to meet. Kwaku was very knowledgeable everything Ghana. He knew everybody. She set everything up for us, was patient with our million and one questions, multiple changes, including changes requested at the last minute. She also went over and beyond to help us with a passport issue, although that was not a part of her job. I could tell she wanted us to enjoy our trip, probably even more than we did...lol. Excellent communication, professional, individual attention, and attention to detail, is friendly, and kind. I cannot mention that she was so patient enough.
