It's a old building, and repairs are needed- but it doesn't bother me. I don't need any showy equipment, but I do want it to work and 9/10 things do! I love this gym, owned by local owners and not another FrAnChiSe. I wish it was 24hour so I could go late at night. That's my only "complaint ". Also, I see people mention the A/C on here for not just this gym but others too (christis, vero fitness) These people are probably working out around the busiest time of the day after work (more people more body heat). When we work out we generate even more heat, and the poor A/C can only keep up so much! Either put up with it, or go during a less populated time!!! It's for all gyms!!!

They have done a great job of expanding and adding a new room for exercises. I've been enjoying my daily workout at Anytime Fitness for several summers, as I live out of state for 10 months of the year. They have always been very accommodating to allow me a month to month membership. It's a nice telltale sign to see the same faces still fit and working it every morning while I'm here. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming. Karla, the manager, John the trainer and the rest of their team are simply the best. The gentleman that does maintenance & cleaning always goes out of his way to make me feel welcome and I'm regretting not remembering his name. I'll ask tomorrow and edit this review to share this awesome man's name. I've also been impressed by seeing the owner, Mike, working out almost every morning.

When she explained she is a woman, staff replied, "I believe you, but others are still uncomfortable." Instead of standing up against discrimination, they enforced it. This is blatant prejudice. It sends the message that appearance determines where someone "belongs," rather than their actual gender. If a short-haired woman is denied access to the women's locker room, what does that say about how they would treat a transgender woman? Staff and management at this location had the opportunity to protect a paying member's dignity and legal right to use the locker room consistent with her gender -- and they failed. Until this policy and behavior change, I urge everyone to take their business elsewhere.
