This was, without question, the worst money I have ever spent…read more Nicole was unprofessional, failed to follow up, and could not explain the reasoning behind the decisions she made. Based on the information on her own website, she does not appear to have any formal qualifications in resume writing or career coaching. Her primary credential seems to be that she personally received offers from jobs she applied to and then decided to start writing resumes for other people. The process itself was incredibly disappointing. I spent a significant amount of time filling out detailed forms describing my experience and accomplishments, only to find that much of what I wrote was copied almost verbatim into my resume. There was very little added value or strategic thinking. I could have done that myself. The LinkedIn "optimization" was equally poor. It consisted of little more than rewriting the summary section. There was no discussion of headlines, skills, services, keywords, languages, profile structure, or how recruiters actually search for candidates. It felt like there was no understanding of LinkedIn as a recruiting tool. The most frustrating part was the lack of collaboration. When I asked why certain wording had been chosen and requested a different format, instead of explaining the strategy or discussing alternatives, I was met with, "Why did you hire me then?" That response alone told me everything I needed to know about the level of professionalism I was dealing with. Charging $1,500 for this service is, in my opinion, completely unjustifiable. I expected expertise, thoughtful guidance, and a resume that reflected strategy and experience. Instead, I received a lightly edited version of my own words with little explanation and poor communication throughout the process. This was the biggest waste of money I've ever made and one of the worst service experiences I've had. I cannot recommend this service to anyone.

Their website boasts about the quick response time for a request. It took them a few days to get…read moreback to me but I didn't mind. The part that I DID mind was the fact that they asked me to give them a phone call to discuss what I needed help with, and then were never available for the phone call. My call was rescheduled 3 times in less than 2 weeks, then it was postponed indefinitely. Finally a few weeks later I got an email asking to reschedule and I was all set at that point. The person I was in contact with seemed to be very nice and everything, however if a new customer is reaching out for your services you should definitely pay them more attention before you just lose their business to another service. I'm glad I didn't waste my money, but it's a shame that they lost out on business because they didn't think I was important. Update for clarification: I've received a response from Spring Forward stating that no one by my name has ever done business with them. I specifically use a nickname for Yelp reviews so that I can't be personally attacked in reviews, emails or phone calls that the business does not approve of. Not having my name in their system does not invalidate the honest review I've posted.

Dr. Harte Weiner took my money and I want a full refund for service not rendered. Cons: -No essay editing. She didn't even read the essay ahead of time and in our 2 hours appointment, she pretended she read the essay ahead of time. The reason for this is that when she opened her inbox, my email that was sent to her 5 days prior was still unread in outlook. Then she lied and mentioned how she had read my essay ahead of time and made corrections on my essay, but she left my essay on her laptop. But then her laptop was lost somewhere. What? I can see right there that my email to her in the inbox was unread. Very unprofessional. -So during the 2 hours essay appointment with her, she read my essay for the first time and she had no idea what the content was to discuss it with me. I paid her for 2 hours of time and it is not cheap and this is not the service I was paying for. Avoid this business. If you need your essay edited, don't use this service. Pros: Met with me for 2 hours to collect my money. I could have asked my friend to proof read for me and he would have done more than this editor.

I was told "I don't work that way I will e-mail you the payment form and you can fax or mail it back along with the resume and deposit check". So I right away fax the old resume, and 4 hours later get a call saying it was never received and she needed the payment agreement too which was e-mailed to me 2 minutes before the call. I double checked the fax number and called the place that I paid to have fax it to her to make sure and they said they faxed it. While Mir is outstanding, of course, - my (particularly complicated) project was primarily worked on by the lovely Betsy Taube. My previous resume was too tightly packed-in, screaming hard to tell my brilliant story...that it not only left others overwhelmed, it left me somewhat confused as to how to best represent my myriad skills, expertise & my future projects. After a comprehensive phone call & detailed to/fro on my resume (and LinkedIn Profile), I knew this collaboration was going to be very powerful & productive as Betsy is somewhat of a "Resume Therapist" or a "Career Storytelling Magician" - she unpacked various parts of my past assignments to help make coherent sense & she found a logical string that brought key themes together in a very easy, readable way!
