I made calls to a few different companies explaining the situation, but no one could come right away (a week is what I was told) until I contacted Dalton Whitley. He came in a few short hours, showed me his paperwork showing me that he was licensed and insured, along with photos showing his previous jobs. He and his team removed the tree, and he also pointed out a few other dead trees on my property that were in danger of falling and hitting my house. Since I live in a POA neighborhood, getting permission to remove the trees is unfortunately necessary. Dalton let me know that he too had previous appointments to keep, but he still provided me with a quote and an estimated date, and the job was done. Very satisfied, and happy to provide his company's name whenever anyone tells me they need a tree removed!

They took pride in their work, cleaned up after with a big magnet thing to take up the nails and used a blower at the very end. They had one guy on the ground the entire time picking up trash etc. We also had three skylights replaced and they were mindful of the inside of my house and helped me place my drop clothes. We have had a lot of issues with our roof over the past 7 years when we got a brand new roof (shingle over shingle) and a few things I have learned: 1. ONLY go with a roofing company, not a business that does roofs, additions etc 2. Ask who will be working on your home and how long they have been working for the company. The guys at Lounsbury roofing have been working for the company for at least 10 years. We had other general contractors come over and they had young kids put our shingles on they they did it incorrectly and we got leaks. 3. Never put shingles on top of shingles but rather always tear off all your shingles so you can see if their is any damage to the plywood. 4.
