I could barely walk my dog and certainly couldn't walk on the beach. I used Yelp to find a chiropractor and Guthrie Family Chiropractic came up in Stevensville, a neighboring town. There were no reviews so I was very nervous about going there. But my vacation was being ruined so I took a chance. I got a same day appointment with Brett, the chiropractor and, Brandy, the massage therapist. Brett worked on me for about 15 minutes and then, taking Brett's diagnosis into consideration, Brandy gave me a 1-hour massage. It was a miracle! I walked out of there feeling 100% cured! And I remained 100% cured throughout my vacation and have not had the pain or the sciatica since. The treatment was very reasonable in cost (I'm used to Chicago prices) and Brett and Brandy were conscientious, effective and friendly. This place should have many good reviews on Yelp!

My motorhome was going into the shop at the same time so Giovanni the practice manager offered to pick me up! Who does that? An added benefit for picking the right doctor. As I hobbled into the office I was greeted with kindness , compassion and excellent treatment. I received three days of outstanding care that allowed me to continue my vacation. I found Dr Mead to be a caring, funny and extremely skilled Chiropractor. As a patient one could not ask for a better doctor to attend to one's needs. As a Chiropractic patient since the 70's I have only experienced one other doctor as skilled as Dr Mead. So disappointed after my calls with this office. A 'Tabitha' answered and just had a very strange,…read moreunprofessional phone demeanor. There was also a lot of background noise and I got confused about whether she was trying to talk with me. But, I guess it was just noisy there. After I asked some qualifying questions about the practice, I asked if they accepted my insurance, to which she replied 'no.' So, I said 'thank you anyway' and hung up with her. As this was my third attempt at contacting a potential new chiropractor, I decided to go visit my health insurance page to see who they had listed. This practice was on the list. So, I thought there may have been a mistake. I called back to the practice and Tabitha answered again. I shared with her (nicely!) what I'd found--that they were on the list on the insurance website--and she replied, "Yeah, for another week," with a strange attitude. She then followed up with a curt, "Do you want to pay cash?" Her attitude was just awful. I still wonder if she knew what she was talking about. But, honestly, if this person is the front-facing representative for the practice, seems like maybe I'm better off moving on to the next option. It's crazy to me that a business can operate this way and still end up with such a great rating. Very confusing.
